    Keith getting closer to Grace…

Need Streelman, Grillo, and Clark to play a bit better. Big par 5s coming up for Streelman and Clark.

Streelman essentally putting up min FPs for a guy at -6.

second this thought. i will say while streelman is hassian at times, he still has those bursts where he can throw 4-7 birdies in a row.

Dang Morikawa and Poulter both having great days.

Had 0% Morikawa, Wolff, and Hovland this tourney. It’s working out with Wolff (since he was 20% owned and dead last), but Morikawa obviously playing great today.

Maybe one day I’ll choose them. I’m fading Morikawa for the rest of the year. I’m just gonna say it now. I still don’t believe he should be higher priced than US Open winners like Gary Woodland and the same price as Tommy Fleetwood, even though he’s basically destroyed Fleetwood today.

That Morikawa bogey on 18 is gonna help me a lot. He just lost his bogey free round, a possible birdie on a par 5, and placement points. Depends on tomorrow. He could just shoot -7 tomorrow again though.

EDIT: oh i guess he already lost his bogey free round earlier. Wow, that means he made a ton of birdies today.

If JT doesn’t win this, it’s gonna be a massive choke. He should be almost like 80%+ to win at this point.

    Matt Wolff with a birdie??

    well, here’s the background

    https://www.golf.com/news/2019/10/18/brooks-koepka-withdraws-cj-cup-after-slip-wet-concrete/

“During the course of Friday’s round, I slipped on wet concrete aggravating a previous injury to my left knee,” the statement read. “After consulting with my doctor, I have been advised to withdraw from the CJ Cup and head home for further tests. I appreciate everyone’s concerns and support. I’ll keep you posted as I learn more.”

Koepka said earlier this month he had recently underwent a stem-cell treatment to repair a partially torn patella tendon in his left knee. He said it required about four weeks of rehab, and his first event back was the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open in the beginning of October.

Brooks doesn’t just quit tourneys so something must be wrong. Last time he did this was for his wrist I believe and that was serious. Prior to that, it was his ankle (I think a the no-cut WGC event) and he missed some time after that.

  • NoLimits0

JT what an idiot. Blows the AU70 on the easy par 5 and now is tied with Danny Lee who makes eagle when JT makes bogey. All JT needed was par to keep AU70 and the lead.

Idiot. Him and An both trying to hard and find the penalty.

  • NoLimits0

Those 5 points for AU70 are going to mean min cashing and not.

  • NoLimits0

Does anyone play showdown anymore? Or is it not a thing?

Looking at the scores, Danny Lee is easiest fade in showdown ever because people are going to have 40% of him when he won’t win and also gained like 15 strokes putting.

Does Woodland have a Top 10 since winning US Open ? Morikawa has a win, a 2nd and a pile of Top 20’s and I’d say his hunger factor is 10x to Gary’s. He also has a better all around game and is a much better putter.

Using your theory of how a guy played in a major back in June and thinking that matters in a fall series small field no-cut Korean event makes no sense to me when both him and Fleet have done very little the past 6 months. This course has no valid comparison to a US Open or major setup and should be a negative correlation if that was something people considered.

Oh wow I didn’t realize you were leading the Club Twirl, sick looking lineup, good luck tonight, hopefully you wake up to that 1st place again

My lineup this week doesn’t have any duds but I also don’t have anyone in the top 10 at the moment either

That’s good for me – I’m in a big season long Golf pool and have Streelman as a late round pick so any extra starts for him is great especially when it is a small field no cut event where he is guaranteed cash

My point about Woodland was most like “how can a guy who won the US Open and was an elite ball striker for the last few years with other PGA tour victories all of a sudden be this bad lately.” Doesn’t make sense his long run form is worse than Morikawa imo. I think he’ll bounce back at his low prices. Ofc Morikawa has outplayed him since the US Open, can’t argue there. You can make the case like guys like 7k have outplayed him since the US Open, but Woodland has solid long run form.

I don’t agree on Fleetwood. He’s been amazing since the US Open. He’s got T13, T23, 2, T4, T43, T11, T13, T8, T60, T5 since the US Open. That’s really good. No MCs, including a 2nd at the British Open, 4th at the WGC St. Jude, 8th at the European Masters, 11th at the BMW Championship, and T13 at the Tour Championship (last one’s means a bit less with 30 players) (hard events).

Morikawa has T36, T2, T4, 1, T31, T52, T48, T10, and T42, but his good events were front loaded right after the US Open in weak fields.

I don’t see how Fleetwood has been worse than Morikawa honestly, but obviously this event Fleetwood has not been great. Woodland has no comparison vs. Morikawa except in the long run, he’s generally been better.

We’ll see, I think it’s a good opportunity to play Woodland at these low prices imo, if they are gonna make him in the range of Cameron Smith (no disrespect to Cam since he’s also beating Woodland here). Morikawa has indeed played like a 9k+ player in his short starts, but I’m just saying guys who are below him have had some better long run success and hopefully they find it again.

I think one of the telling price points next week is how they price Paul Casey vs. Collin Morikawa. If the precendent holds from previous events, I would not be surprised if Morikawa costs like 700 more than Paul Casey. Morikawa probably will cost like 1k+ more than Louie Oosthuzien too. And to me, if that happens, that just sounds weird right?

Yea thanks. Probably was looking better before An doubled the last and JT bogied the last to get himself into a tie with Danny Lee. Some of the other guys have Lee (2nd place has Lee and no An), so I do need JT to win. 100% JT from literally every single player in the top 100 of the Club Pro, so he has no effect if he wins (doens’t matter he lost his AU70 bonus unless you are behind non-JT teams). Then need the other guys like Clark and Streelman to have decent rounds.
