It’s looking like I’m going with an Aussie core. Their combined results at this course are a 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 7th, 11th and 18th.

    Taken from another site:

The putting averages here over the past two seasons ranked as the sixth-hardest and second-hardest, and the one-putt and three-putt percentages second and first as well. Bad putters should have a step up more than they normally do this week, as good putters are closer to average here

Guess it is a good week not to have shot tracker if we can expect our guys to be three putting a lot. At least I am happy to see this information since the team I built on gut feel is not exactly known for their stellar putting

For fun I looked up my new favorite golfer, Jeongwoo Ham, and he’s aptly named, he’s gone HAM in a bunch of tournaments on the Korean and Japanese tours this year:

It looks like FD is not serving the Ham this week.

I guess that’s one take on it. Another take would be bad putters will be 3-putting a helluva lot more than good putters. I don’t see bad putters thriving here in past results.

Anyone know who this guy is? Is he legit? He says Perez and List are WDs… waiting on a more official person but just sharing.

Edit: He just tweeted they are still on the leaderboard just don’t have tee times. May be a false alarm?

I don’t think it’s that the bad putters will thrive; it’s just to not put too much stock in putting at all since it’s going to be so difficult for everyone. Sounds like approach, prox, and wedges (for long hitters) will be more of a factor than putting. Lots of ways to spin the data, though.

There are 7 guys on the leaderboard without a tee time but not showing WD yet. For Perez and List some folks over in UK say they have gotten refunds on bets they made on those 2 so sounds like those 2 might be offical. Matt Jones is the only other known name the other 4 are are Koren including Mr Ham and Mr Moon, in before Moon over My Hammy joke.

I’m going real simple this week. Combining BoB% with course history. Done and done.

I’m heavy on DD, BoB, Vegas (not Jhonny), and RF.

So wait, Perez AND Ham are not playing?

  • titanhawks

They are both on the tee times on PGATOUR.com and not a word from Bolton on his twitter feed about WD’s and I don’t see anywhere official that says they aren’t playing

  • titanhawks

Golfweek.com has tee times with their playing partners

Ham playing with V Taylor and D Lee 7:10 pm eastern

    Perez w/Homa and CHIII @ 7:50 pm

Yeah I have no idea now. If you look at the leaderboard for the even they all don’t have times listed, that’s normally how they show when they are a WD but it doesn’t have the WD with them. Some people in UK are claiming they’ve been refunded bets on List and Perez….honestly no idea what’s going on with it.

I’m trying to get the KPGT in English and having no luck

I usually love him, but taking a break from him this week. He’s very poor OTT and is a short hitter. He could save himself with the putter again, though.

    Excel Sheets for CJ Cup

Tournament & Season Form : SG:TOTAL per Round

    Strokes Gained 2018-Current History : T2G & Putting

    DK 2018-Current History

I added in a summary tab of all the SG Categories to that sheet. The averages are for the last 20 tournaments of all T2G and Bent Grass Putting back 80ish tournaments.

I like him this week. I wish his price was a little lower, but hopefully that helps his ownership.

Will they use shotlink over there?

  • titanhawks

No shotlink overseas the next three weeks

  • timusbr

They work cheap. They only cover so many holes though.

Yeah was relying on that putter form. But I’ll be making two or three lines and he’s going to make team.

  • pocket7ns

Any opinions on the viability of Nate Lashley this week @ $6700? I can’t help but like him here given the price tag, and the upside he has shown, with that -25 1st place at the Rocket Mortgage, and more recently the 3rd place finish he had a month ago at Greenbrier.
Granted, his last 2 showings he finished in 62nd, 68th,which is not good, let’s face it. However, in a no cut event he seems like a strong play at that price. Thoughts?
