Be nice if Rahm and SI WOO could make some birdies for me.

How about a Rahm eagle ?

  • XxHeisenbergxX

    RAHM!

  • Baysman

Didn’t realize Hughes was such a terrible putter.

  • BThomps88

Hughes has AVERAGED +5.3 SG Putting over his last 14 events and has also had positive strokes gained in 14 consecutive. Lost almost 4 yesterday. Have him in my main and SD today….come on Mac!

    Robbie Shelton streaking..

  • BrianVT

    Cantlay making some putts today?

Wolff into the water on his first shot of the day for anyone (like me) hoping he’d bounce back at all.

On the bright side he made his first birdie of the tourney on his 22nd hole. Then again, he’s giving that back and then some. The guy has a serious glitch in that funky swing that he can’t figure out. It was coming, just didn’t expect it the week after he went 22 under par.

    Thank you for this.

does Wolff look as bad as his scoring? I’m not in a position to watch it right now unfortunately.

  • ifthethunder

Back from the store and I see Wolff has maintained his iron grip on DFL.

All of a sudden my guys suck. Slowly dropping down my showdown leaderboard.

Neither he nor Adam Hadwin are making Canada proud. And I’m suddenly realizing that Hadwin in 6 of 8 may not have been a genius strategy. Come on, lads!

Wolff is hurt – looks like his hip; he is hobbling/limping a bit on his right side.

I think a WD is a real possibility as he looks in pain and he’s not playing well so why continue ?

Color me not surprised if he has a hip injury. That swing looks painful to replicate at my age. I hope he’s OK.

Hughes was on his way to a streak heading to the par 5 until I seen that his ST shows left rough then straight across to the right rough then straight across to the intermediate. No advancement yet forward. EDIT his 4th shot 60 yards forward.

  • mitchsnyderdfw

Nice BOFR by Xander today. Oh and a 64 is nice too.

  • BrianVT

    J. Dahmer triple. I bet that tastes bad.

Hadwin the same on the par 5 18th. But no, no streak, just a par. But at least he put in a decent round today and got back to even par.

Hughes and Todd +4 and +6 then I have Berger -1 overall yet Todd 7 points better and Hughes only 2 points from Berger who has been a Par making machine but this is no US Open.

anyone in here qualify for the FGWC? Got my single bullet in last week, looking forward to it. Been reading this forum for a long time, figured I would start to contribute lol

We are very quiet this weekend. It’s interesting how this course is playing. Scheffler and Long are my duds. Lanto and Niemann doing alright. Nice to see JT rebound a bit today. Cut line is +9. :)

  • Steverino01

So if this was a cut event, looking like -1 would’ve probably been the cut. I would’ve had all 3 lineups end up 4/6, so this is one time a no cut event isn’t so bad. Then again, I have Poston, Hughes, Scheffler and Wolff hacking it around this course for two more days.

I love watching this course – hope they play something here again; it’s a fun course with birdie chances, eagle opportunities and some crazy sloping chips/putts

I didn’t like the format this year and haven’t entered a qualifier since the first week they were offered.

Made it the last 2 years but won’t be in this year; I don’t like the survivor format where they pare it down for 3 weeks – I would have preferred the 200 person event all in 1 week like the last 2 years. Also last year they had a bonus 4 day showdown survivor contest that paid $5K each to the top 5 on Sunday and I won that plus another $4K in the 200 man main event.
