Damn pulled out of pro am…was all over him.

So Jason Day does this a lot at Pro-Ams. It could be the majority of the time but I’m not sure. He doesn’t like, or enjoy, or just plain doesn’t want to play any more with amateurs than he has to, or is obligated to. When I saw this news, I kind of liked it. Because that news will cause the casual golf fan to not play Day. There is of course a small chance that Day is actually hurt this time. I highly, highly doubt it since he has a history of this though. If you ever listen to Pat Mayo, he is not Day’s biggest fan. I will be a little overweight on him because I think he is a solid gpp play.

Anyone want to take a stab at Tiger’s ownership in the 4$ gpp? I’m going to say 20%. It will be really interested to see if the top golf DFS players will roster any of Tiger. Excited to see those ownership reports!

  • SeeRed4

I am overweight on Day…Putts well on poana, has distance, great with long irons, finished last year strong. Day is a great GPP play at his price. I am way overweight on him.

  • tristanwolf

well damn guess i was wrong about the $4 overlay people were pounding it last night. ah well ill stick with my 20 in the mini birdie.

fun fact i read about tiger this a.m. – he has one top 10 in his last 19 starts. but supposedly its the new healed tiger so we shall see.

off to work, good luck everyone!

I think he ends up around 15%….if he would have been priced in the mid 8K range it would have been 25%.

I decided to move my Tiger exposure to the Best Ball instead of the Dogleg instead, also got him in a scramble so 36 bucks on Tiger.

I have a super super tiny player pool but slightly more lineups than usual so it’s boom or bust for me this week.

I hope Finau can win this.

I’m playing 20 max this week and put all those lineups in the Fore and Dogleg.

    90% Finau… legoooooooo

    Prediction….

I prefer the no __________, no cash, on day one.

Rickie is a marketing machine, i agree..

How about guys like Dustin Johnson? Or that Jordan Spieth guy? And Justin Thomas? Yeah

You think they aren’t motivated? Heard the same BS before DJ murdered the field in the TOC.

To Americanize something should not translate to strip clubs, talk shows and casinos.. They are simply the best golfers in the world playing in the best country in the world. This is America, so they are free to do whatever they please. Which is heaven on Earth. Wouldn’t you say?

Yeah Tiger had his issues. But that was Tiger.. Tiger Woods’ value do not reflect America’s values. You hear more lately of golfers and athletes (including just recently, very high paid NFL QBs, like Nick Foles, Case Keenum, Carson Wentz) first thanking God for their success.

So I don’t know your motives, story, and etc.. but I wake up every morning thanking God for America.

So DJ ending up with the Hockey Kings daughter and doing blow and fuking other players wives. Or phil and his notorious Gambling habit and pumping a drug on TV. Spieth and Thomas, never, and Rahm, probably not to the extent of the first two…
It happens, and here, it happens because we drape them in money and treat like a superstar. Some guys just cant handle it well.
I can only imagine how many golfers fell by the wayside due to the vast amount of things that can corrupt a corruptible mind. These stories are NOT on TV, they end up only in the local newspaper as a side note. No one cares about the guy that could have been.

Anybody else think Sned’s can win this besides me? Let’s hope he’s shaken off the rust and remembers that he can put on these greens.

I just couldn’t pull the trigger on Day. Withdrawing from the pro-am was my final straw.

Overweight on Day….he is under priced….he is always withdrawing or sick with something. Lowers % and you dont need many shares to have more the field.

I googled this and there were multiple instances of Day withdrawing from numerous Pro-Ams over the last couple years. I don’t think it has anything to do with an “injured back.”

I was on him last week and I will be on him again this week. His Web.Com stats from last year led me to roster him last week. I was impressed with his composure. Although he missed a few key putts near the end, he played well overall.
