i have added my beat the forums to the league forum/ there are 5 h2h at $1,2,5,10 so 20 total available for now maybe add a few if they fill. i have it set to only one head to head per person so pick your price. this is my first time doing it, is the general rule i just play one lineup against y’all or can i do like 1 lu vs 10 and 1 lu vs the other 10? either way should be fun time. good luck guys.

First week without NFL in 20 weeks.

    newbie week starts NOW

I think this is the best PGA event since the playoffs last year. Look at the strength of field. The players are stacked on top. cant wait to see who provides value much lower down.

Technically there is the Pro Bowl this week 🙄

i think nfl pro bowl has to be the #1 degen dk bet. i can’t think of anything else more of a crap shoot.

Lebioda at $6300 seems like a no-brainer when trying to squeeze in some top guys.

Have people seen the MKF bets for the full tournament? I’m not sure what I’m missing. Matt Every o/u 184.5 total strokes. Umm…if he makes the cut…way over and if he misses the cut…way under. Where are they coming up with 184.5? Brandon Hagy is o/u 187.5. What’s the difference? Aren’t you just betting if they make the cut or not?

Yeah it’s bizarre. Like you said, basically a bet on if they make the cut or not.

Si Woo Kim could shoot back to back 95’s to miss the cut and still go over lol. Your right in that these bets are basically a prop for making the cut which is a common bet offered by sportsbooks so I am guessing they are trying to recreate that. Why one guy is 185 and another 187 I don’t know as it really is all the same.

There certainly are some weird ones and is basically a Make/miss cut prop, but it looks like maybe their system is a bit screwy cause I saw some round 1 numbers that looked way off too but it looks like they pulled them down before I could pick them. Mostly I’m waiting for tee times to be posted so I can try to hammer the over on North course guys and under on South course

  • manoffewwords

Tiger,Rahm, Morikawa paired together. Could be fun to watch.

I screwed myself by forgetting about the two courses, already entered a few contests for round 1.

Fingers crossed for Rickie on the south course and Rahm on the north. Wish you could w/d your entries after the 30 min.

Ya this is an important bit of info for showdown as well since the two courses this week are drastically different in terms of difficulty (as compared to last week where they were different but all relatively easy courses).

The South course typically plays at +0.5 to +1 and can get harder if the wind is blowing (though forecast currently looks pretty light wind)

North course typically plays -1 to -2 with a bunch more birdie chances, so I would expect showdown scoring to be heavily skewed towards guys playing NC during rounds 1 and 2. At least for the weekend you don’t have to worry about that anymore.

How do you see future lines for Monkey Knife Fight? Whenever I look at golf I can’t get anything besides “no games today”. There has to be a way to search outside of today only but I am not seeing it.

I’m either going 100% Rahm/Rory or 67% Rahm/Rory/Tiger in GPP, so hammerin’ Hank will see some run in my player pool for sure. Now to complement my 2-superstud build with 4 value guys who strike it well enough to have upside but aren’t so miserable on and around the greens to be huge MC risks. The RF, CH, CF gods are aligning too perfectly for Sepp, he’s got to be a trap. If his irons slip a little, his abysmal ATG game might result in a trunk slam. Is Cam Davis going to become a consistently good golfer who has both the ability to pop and to grind or will his shaky short game send him back across the Pacific on a Friday night flight? Is everyone going to go to sleep on Wolff after a disappointing weekend – if so, there’s big value to be had here in a bomber with a competent short game and a reasonable price tag. Is Gooch becoming a GPP auto-play on the California swing?

Cam Smith/Fatrick balance build for cash. Just gotta find 4 more equally boring grinders. Or maybe plug in Ancer there, since he’s done me so well at President’s Cup and Amex, but he doesn’t fit my GPP build and I’m still not over the missed 3 footer on 18 here last year that killed a sexy would-be 6/6 single bullet.

I saw both full tourney bets and 1st round bets up like an hour ago, but now I only see “no games today”. They may have taken them all offline.

I don’t think they really have ‘futures’ beyond the week, but the contests for this week I think got pulled down for the moment since it looked like there system spit out some screwy lines. They are probably now waiting for tee times to be posted before they put their lines back up for this week’s event

I don’t think Ancer is playing this week, assuming you meant someone else

Any of you Euro guys know anything about HARRY HALL who just monday qualified for the Farmers? Looks like he’s recently out of college but played a couple Euro events recently and had solid finishes so if he’s super cheap salary wise once they update the pool he may be worth a look

    Thanks!

The full tournament MKF bets may be fun but are a little bit of a weird twist. I saw some numbers posted last night but it’s hard to place any bets without knowing if the guys are on the NC/SC yet. Thinking their under 5.5 birds/under 16.5 pars/over 68.5 bets all look good for the SC.

I’m going to keep riding Norlander as a cheap guy this week. He’s been playing great, making lots of birdie/eagle points the last few weeks and probably would’ve been higher in contention had he not posted a 75 on the Stadium day one last week. Hoping this keeps some of the masses off him in that mid 6k range.

Probably going back to Cam Smith as well, 8700 seems a bit too cheap for his recent form.

    Thoughts on doc redman?

    I’ve heard he’s not a real doctor.

On a more serious note, if I’m playing someone in this range, I’d rather go with Hank Lebioda or Martin Laird. Both have some tournament history here:

P.S. Laird hasn’t been doing well lately.
