I saw both full tourney bets and 1st round bets up like an hour ago, but now I only see “no games today”. They may have taken them all offline.

Could be because Matt Every just withdrew and they had a few contests with him.

I had actually grabbed the under (missed cut) on him, so I wonder what they’ll do with my entries.

I think it’s forfeit since he won’t be teeing up at all.

Schenk withdrew as well (in case anyone was on him this week).

Hadwin not playing last week was a bit of a mystery, but that’s not the case this week. This quote made me chuckle.

“I love Torrey Pines but it sucks for my game. I just don’t hit it quite far enough to really compete around there.”

Rahm or Rory up top or jam both in?

You mean a push, or MKF forfeits and I win?

Any of you Euro guys know anything about HARRY HALL who just monday qualified for the Farmers? Looks like he’s recently out of college but played a couple Euro events recently and had solid finishes so if he’s super cheap salary wise once they update the pool he may be worth a look

Strangely I have not. I think I saw his name but I never seriously thought about rostering him. He’s not a part of the usual EURO Q school guys I look at occasionally, maybe because he was in college.

I think it’s just void (meaning they return your bet to you). They have that qualifier with all individual round bets. I’m assuming it’s the same for the full tourney.

People seem to love this course for DFG purposes but I do not. I hate the split course thing and I hate that this seems to mostly be a “grip and rip” course (the tougher course anyway).

The split course thing is tricky, but they do play 3 rounds on one course. Also there have been some non-bombers who have won so it doesn’t seem to be all about gripping it and ripping it.

Why don’t people like Tiger this week?

For me it’s mainly that since his return from injury Tiger has really thrived on less than driver courses since his iron game is still elite, but Torrey requires you to really be hammering the driver a lot, so that takes present day tiger down a notch for me. I still think he’s got a chance to play well since he’s Tiger and has shown he can still win, but if I’m spending up I like most of the other options more than Tiger

My core four this week are Gooch, Cauley, English and Palmer. They are all in good form and fit this course setup very nicely. Now…I just need to figure out the top of my lineup(s).

I’m pretty high on those four as well, which means we’re both either doomed, very smart, or those are very chalky.

Did you MKF guys not get the same RG premium tag I got (3 months free upgrade)?

Ya this is an important bit of info for showdown as well since the two courses this week are drastically different in terms of difficulty (as compared to last week where they were different but all relatively easy courses).

The South course typically plays at +0.5 to +1 and can get harder if the wind is blowing (though forecast currently looks pretty light wind)

North course typically plays -1 to -2 with a bunch more birdie chances, so I would expect showdown scoring to be heavily skewed towards guys playing NC during rounds 1 and 2. At least for the weekend you don’t have to worry about that anymore.

the greens are different on the 2 courses. the south course played on all 4 days is Poa. For the purpose of showdown The fade would be south course afternoon wave. IMHO. The north course is said to be very fast greens with a stimp of 12. This is to me where the eagle and birdie points are more gettable.

I agree with Dunzor’s comments. The driving yards advantage of Tiger have significantly been reduced compared to the field. Where he outdrove all but a few in his heyday, He is not hitting it as far and consequently been more off in his accuracy. TeeGer, is being challenged by this course and against the current best(see strength of field).

Wouldn’t mind seeing him playing in late tee times Sunday but not picking him is a good way to separate myself from…..What 20 to 25% of the DFS field?

I recall Tiger out-driving some young guns at the ZOZO. His advantage is also just thinking his way through the course.

Fatrick or Hideki Matsuyama? What say ye?

I’m currently on kind of a boycott of Reed of sorts. He just can’t sustain the run he’s in with everything going around him.

I usually hate Mats but he seems to like it here and he’s my 2nd behind Rory. I’m lookinf at Grillo hard too.

There are obviously some smart people on this forum that know what they are doing. I have to stay with Tiger or i’d kill myself if he did really well.

  • Dewoc19

man i am STRUGGLING with lineup construction this week, you pick either of the top 2 guys and then a 9K guy and it leaves you with absolute garbage at the bottom

  • js5734

Rahm is winning again this week – course is a perfect fit for him
