Big tournament for Tiger in regards to the Olympics. Hope he makes it this year. His last (and only) chance probably. No other golfer has all 4 Majors and an Olympic Gold.

How come I have to play Rory Sabbatini every week….it’s like his price keeps getting cheaper for some reason.

If there is a week to get off him it’s this one. He thrives on less than driver as well, but his biggest strength is his wedges which was great for the last few events layouts, but Torrey has a lot of long iron approaches and I just don’t see Sabbs being consistent enough with those to compete this week

That’s true, I just thought it was interesting I think I’ve picked him in cash for multiple weeks in a row now and was looking at his price this week. Lucas Glover is also like that price, so we’ll see who I end up going with. Right now, first thing I do is just look at the prices to see who looks cheap/expensive before looking at the course more in detail.

Denny McCarthy is also loved by LineUp.HQ again this week. His recent form is great, but his history in this tournament is…less so.

Ya there are a few good options in that low 7 range, McCarthy, Gooch, Watney, Tringale, Steele, Fritelli

He did finish 20 two years ago and 14 three years ago. Not terrible for his price.

i have added my beat the forums to the league forum/ there are 5 h2h at $1,2,5,10 so 20 total available for now maybe add a few if they fill. i have it set to only one head to head per person so pick your price. this is my first time doing it, is the general rule i just play one lineup against y’all or can i do like 1 lu vs 10 and 1 lu vs the other 10? either way should be fun time. good luck guys.

I only play 1 lineup across all price points but if you can beat the forum with multiple lineups then go for it. It’s basically a bunch of h2h so go for it in my opinion.

I screwed myself by forgetting about the two courses, already entered a few contests for round 1.

Fingers crossed for Rickie on the south course and Rahm on the north. Wish you could w/d your entries after the 30 min.

Never mind – I was thinking you were talking about DFS

Seems like you should make at least 150 LUs tonight.

I’m either going 100% Rahm/Rory or 67% Rahm/Rory/Tiger in GPP, so hammerin’ Hank will see some run in my player pool for sure. Now to complement my 2-superstud build with 4 value guys who strike it well enough to have upside but aren’t so miserable on and around the greens to be huge MC risks. T

i personally think it’s a mistake going too top heavy or stars/scrubs here. This field is pretty loaded so the likelihood of the top 2-3 salaries actually being the best plays are very far from a sure thing and even more difficult is picking 3-4 guys at 7Kish or less who actually crack the top 20 is even more unlikely.

Have a look at past results here the past couple of years; most of the Top 12 have come from 8500+ salary players.

I’m not really dumpster diving here as this week’s strength of field is almost double last week’s at 397 vs 214 plus with the full field of 156 and only 65 & ties making cut now so I can see 80% or more of the guys at 7500 or more (so 25+/32 players) making the cut leaving just 40ish cut makers coming from the next 124 salaries.

Rahm is winning again this week – course is a perfect fit for him

36 holes with Tiger and a guy from Cal in Morikawa – good luck Jon, gonna be a couple temper tantrums and dog kickings.

I’d rather play him on Weekend Golf or R3/R4 Showdown when he is on the South Course, away from Tiger and trying to climb back into it.

Wow, you are getting good at setting lines. I started relooking at the player pool. I got a little jazzed about….A Bif Challenge and take you up on 25 of top 32 salaries make the cut. Then I started falling in line with you. I have 13/32 in my player pool(of top 32). I do have 13 @ 7400 or less. But these are the players I am gambling could do OK to well at lower ownership. I hope BIF’s prediction is correct

My strategy is to keep playing J.B. Holmes until it pays off. Could be a few years.
