Yea I’m not trying to say he won’t try. I’m sure he’ll try his hardest to win, but my guess (not 100% sure) is possibly he’s playing this as his tournament to satisfy some rules so he doesn’t lose his Tour Card by accident at the end of the season. He’s one of the best players in this entire field, if not the best.

Will probably boil down to how well he plays on Friday to put himself in good position for the weekend.

With back-2-back Happy Meal wins, Klubba575 has moved up to second place and only 1 point behind the leader.

look for Billy Hurley III to qualify at Woodmont.

Had every intention of going out there today to watch, but alas, work has reared its ugly head to prevent that.

Who has the balls to play Dawson Armstrong?

Each week I look at head-to-head matchups on the same course, same day against only the players in this week’s field. This week there are 162k individual matchups within the last 13 weeks. The prior tournaments with the most data (highest field similarity) are Valero Texas Open [24k] and Houston Open [23k].

Thanks again for posting these. I actually didn’t have Bryson in my initial pool last week, until your spreadsheet peaked my interest on him a little more.

Unfortunately, nothing had me on Kyle Stanley, as he was like 29th in my overall model. Didn’t dip low enough to scoop him up. I did have Cantlay and An, though.

I am going to Vegas on tuesday morning, as long as I enter contests before then, I can edit lineups throughout the week right??

Is Adam Scott playing in the sectionals?

    Nevermind, just found him

Lowry has ping-ponged back and forth from PGA and EURO and to me, playing this week is an attempt by him to maintain his PGA card and gain a few points so he can get into The Open later in the summer

He’s expressedly said his goal is to get into the Top 50, he seems well outside Ryder Cup and US Open possiblities at the moment

Assuming he doesn’t make it through sectionals

  • fuller7586

Negative, you won’t be able to edit your lineups. Take the week off DFS.

I’ve edited my LUs in Vegas and other countries as long as they are entered in a legal place. It’s been about a year so it might’ve changed as per the response from @fuller7586

I couldn’t find the DK Golf Handicap contest on the DK app, is it still happening?

Currently my 8 event average is 470.56, including my pathetic Texas Open. If EURO were in the equation I think my 8 event average would be insanely higher, easily above 500

I think it has changed, would have to drive to border to enter/adjust.

    Wondering the same thing.
I haven’t been able to find the page/info since I initially saw it.

Didn’t pay too much attention at the time since I was going to play every week regardless, so anything that winds up a bonus is a win in my book, but now that we’re a ways in, I’m curious to revisit and really check out the details.

    Hopefully someone has a link.

Nice! Glad it helped. I was high on Bryson as well but unfortunately whiffed on everybody else.

So are we going to have another birdie fest on our hands?! At a first look it sure looks like it. I’m starting to hate these. Maybe I’m just salty because I never have anybody that decides to show up all 4 rounds. Last week it was Bubba and Day, not to mention Kisner MDF and Spieth MC. This stuff is getting impossible for me lol I do love it though so I will continue to donate.

Anybody else really struggling specifically this year?

Why do you feel the St Jude’s will be a birdie fest?

In the black last week, but it’s been rough since The Masters for me. Just gotta keep grinding… I do enjoy it and my ~$30 weekly entries isn’t going to kill me.

  • j_holiday

Have we attempted to determine how to properly weight the different factors associated with someone’s weekly performance? Out of recent form, overall form, course fit, course history, and total noise, I’d put the percentages at 25/15/15/15/30. Thoughts?

Doc Redman had an exemption into the US Open and Open Championship via his US Amateur win. When he turned pro he gave up those exemptions. He is now Sectional Qualifying and he is going to miss the US Open as he is +5 so far today.

Thanks, I rarely use the desktop site, so that was my problem.

I think the past few weeks have put me over 500 as my average so far. I wonder if it’s always optimal to be up a tier since the FPP raise, or if they’ll be a situation where you have more players splitting the points, so you’d be better off lower.
Either way, it’s something for what I’m playing regardless, so works for me.
