Korn Ferry Tour contests up on DK

I looked at the ladies a few weeks ago, and I play all the euro contests. I feel abliged to now add KFT to my sheet.

    The Korn Ferry Tour.

Seriously, they can go fly a kite.

I think I played Korn Ferry once. They post WDs AFTER lock.

MKF full tourney were up briefly. 101.5 for DJ, 98.5 for Rory, Rahm. These seem a point or 3 too high, but not enough to have an edge.

Didn’t see birdie or better numbers.

Down a hair now on FPs and birdies now top out at 17.5. Those seem right to me, until we get better info on course conditions and weather. I’d have to see awful lines to go “over” on anything with such a stacked field, bc someone is gonna miss the cut.

76.5 FPs for R1 seems beatable but I want all AM tee times and better than 2x (+100 in gambling terms) payouts. At 3x I’d play DJ, JT, Bryson if they are AM.

I like the unders on birdies at 17.5 for everyone except Berger at 16.5 ((counting on letdown from him). Then take a shot with DJ going over in 5/5.

So guys what stats are you all focusing on this week? From what i remember from last year at riviera, the greens were tough so im going pure putters this week.. but tee to green whats your guys take on riviera?

Can you clarify? Think you confused the over/under in this statement somewhere?

Under 17.5 birdies for everyone (under 16.5 for Berger) in the 3/3’s. I am taking a shot on DJ going over 17.5 birdies in the 5/5 (everyone else under).

Gotcha. I like the under across the board as well and also the DJ over for a 5/5. I think it’s very likely that someone (or two) goes to 18 or more though, especially if weather is great. Gotta hope they’re in the same 3/3 I guess.

Either way, gonna wait till payouts go up. I don’t see anything moving this week.

  • Shaver933

Gotta say, Bryson under 17.5 is really unlikely unless he misses cut. I could see him scoring 22-25 and still just ending up t10-20. Seems like a free square unless you see a MC.

Ive been reading you MKF guys and I would like to toss in an observation.
17.5 is really high for the field. If you take into account they choose the higher salary guys I would say thats the high side of average.

The distance hitters have been going for eagles on a few of the par 5’s. Anyone hitting 2 or more eagles are going to hit 2 less birdies. Dustin Johnson 2 dif years 3 eagles 13 birdies, or 0 eagles 21 birdies. he won more money with the more birdies. Berger 4 eagles 15 birdies.

Yes, this course specifically scores fewer birdies bc of eagles. I’ll be interested to see if they offer an eagle “stat shootout prop” that has any value.

But I would counter your “eagle = less birdies” statement with “eagle look = nearly sure ‘birdie or better’ “. If you just look at final scores only, then yes, eagles take away from birdies, but I’ve looked at the last 2 years’ results and (some) guys are scoring 20+ regardless. And Bryson specifically doesn’t really have a comparison this year IMO. And DJ might not, either.

Edit: Not trying to be contrary, for what it’s worth. Just trying to explain my thinking and research so far… and make some money.

Who got the ACE last week?

I got the achievement but didn’t see who I had with all the LU’s I played

  • Shaver933

FWIW, the MKF full-tourney rapid fires look incredible to me for birdies+. Berger and Brooks in let-down spots, Bryson getting comped 1/2 a bird, DJ playing well (and Rory sorta lucked into the cut last year), and I like cantlay vs schauffele, and he’s also getting 1/2 a birdie and is the last matchup anyway if you want to do a 4/4.

2 questions fellas, thanks in advance…1) is there currently a reload bonus on draftkings? (not first time deposit)

    2) is there a site that you guys are familiar with that posts course history for the players? I vaguely remember a google sheet being included on this forum, but I have been outta DFS golf for awhile.

Oh my friend; Reload bonus lol. This is not 2016 the daily fantasy side DK is way to big for that now.

But if you contact Mike, he may have a promotion going on for some crowns for second time deposits.

    Best of luck

He finished T5 last year with 15. I don’t think he’s playing very well right now. He can always pop of course, but I feel good betting against it. He and JT are both down to 16.5, so I think I’m done. I’m waiting to see if FPs go down a little more and I’ll hit the overs on a few of those to leverage.
