Thought JT was in the 20’s ?

    What about Rickie ?

Fantasy National has Rickie Projected at 13 percent, Thomas at around 19 percent now.

If Glover plays well, his wife leaves him alone and just takes his paycheck to go out shopping. The problem is when he plays bad and they have to spend time together that she beats his ass.

I think glover needs a pep talk about women from tiger.

Any chance coat rack is one of the highest owned this week. maybe 23% or so?

If you really want to get down into the low prices Andrew Landry is a guy that is definitely not in form and missed the cut here last year but the course profiles decently for him I think.

The more I look into Brian Harman the more I like him this week as well.

Somebody mentioned the price of chicken earlier; well if chicken feed costs more, the chicken is gonna cost more, if the guys who plucks, cuts up and packages the chicken all get a raise….you got it, the price of chicken goes up !

I don’t get how any of this is a surprise to you – someone is always going to bear the cost of regulation, transportation, food quality, food safety, high input costs, anti-plastics packaging movement, etc… and that person is the end consumer – companies will always pass that cost on down the line. It’s always been that way.

Don’t get me started! The MW hikes are costing me big time, and I pass along as much as I can to the consumer, but diminishing returns creep up with wage inflation in relationship to price inflation. Now my communist state of Maryland wants to keep raising MW to $15, my business will be worth nothing after they finish doing that. Raising prices 3% a year no longer works, that I can tell you is a fact. So the real rate of inflation is well disguised….for now

Thanks again for all the help fellas and being just cool in general to a newbie. Good reintroduction to a game I love and getting up to speed on all the players makes it fun to watch. Golf DFS is extremely fun. The cut line and sweating 6/6 … the frustration of always having that ONE guy that scews a beautiful lineup lol … this has helped me work on a better strategy to building lineups. Going small stakes for fun and will be rooting for you guys to rake it in and cash big.

you are very optimistic in the guys you play. if you toss out a name more people will be willing to tell you not a chance he top 10’s then not. 79 golfers are under 7K, a salary of 6500 is definitely a punt (thats 48 golfers).
so the definition of “can” top 10 is subject to individuals.

Sam Saunders ?? can he top 10

I dont think we’re on the same page here…. all of my posts in this thread have supported the desire to go balanced this week…

ultimately i dont plan to dip below $7,200 at all….

    if i were smarter i probably wouldn’t go below $7,500 this week…

in reality i’ll probably have a few under $7k stabs…. just because im a dolt….but in reality i dont think thats intelligent. at all…. unless you really know what you’re doing…

Friendly bet…..not pure numbers but from a percentage perspective…

Higher percentage of golfers priced 6.9k or less make the cut vs the golfers in the 8.7-7.0k range…

i mean…. i have no idea….none… so im not going to “bet” against you… but if you want to do the math and post the results id definitely be interested

i would definitely guess the 7-8.7k range does much better though….

more interested in what percentage of that range posts a top 10 or top10ish FPS score though

    79 golfers under 7k
    48 golfers 7k to 8.7k
    15 golfers over 8.7k

minus a couple WD’s, but how many of the over 8.7k do you think will miss the cut.

Ok here are my bold calls:

My guess on Made Cuts by those salary ranges
    11/15 over 8701
    28/48 from 7000 to 8700
    36/79 under 7000

The Winner will NOT come from the Top 10 salaries (9300+)

There will be at least 3 guys priced at $7300 or less who finish in the Top 10 & ties

The cut will be a score of +1 or better needed to play the weekend
75 guys will make it thru to the weekend (so no MDF)

Our 6/6 rate in the big $5 GPP is going to be 6.5%

There are guys below 7,500 who should be priced like higher than a lot of the 8k guys. Kokrak should be repriced to like 8.8k.

Thanks. I am going to try my hand at it again. I got too frustrated at the eagle alerts for my PIG lineup the last time I played and swore it off. 😋 I’ll throw it in some GPP as tilt insurance!

Interesting thoughts on roster construction this week. I don’t “love/like” a lot of the guys under 7K but there are a few I will be “heavier” on comparatively. But let’s be honest with ourselves here that with the strength of the field a lot of guys are priced as high as we’ve seen them. I’m talking Billy Ho at 9.3K, Grillo at 8.9K, An at 9.1K, and Berger at 9.4K. I mean there are plenty others those were just my examples.

I like Billy Ho a lot here but that is a steep price for him! And this is the Daniel Berger that just played PRO and he’s that expensive! It seems to be a quick dropoff in pricing because I’m struggling to “like” that “mid” range. Actually I think Tim has mentioned it but this seems like a week where Mike (google doc guy) likes players a lot better than DK (Knox and Cink were the biggest outliers I noticed).

It’s weird because I “like” where I’m at right now. I put together my “top 6” and they came in right at 50K, which never happens because my lineup would usually be way over that with my “core”. After that I was able to do a 2 v 2 and add in some low price “horses” (Steele but the form is scary and Dufner who just seems to love it here). Anyway as always I feel there are some angles I might be overlooking. But I’m excited for morning golf tomorrow!!!

There are still 26/50 H2H spots open at different price points for my #BeattheForum week. My single LU is set and uploaded for all of my entries.

I am actually thinking of going big time this week and running a 2nd LU in some contests on DK with a mental angle. Running only players who tee off at #1 tomorrow afternoon so they get the Bear Trap early on Friday morning and then roll into the easier part of the course immediately after.

Another thought since I know I am usually burning money on golf, since it is a 6:45 AM start tomorrow shall we say whatever is open as of 9 PM EST tonight is open game? Now I have each price point set at one time only but if you want to grab a different $ H2H I have no problem with it. My thought is at that point since everyone has had enough time and could have even reserved their spot while constructing a halfway decent LU to take my $$$, you snooze, you lose.

Got my measly $1 in! We’re expecting a “personal narrative” poem this week ;) Thanks for stepping in and taking on the challenge. Good luck!

Yeah I’ve been on a poem sabbatical for a few with this whole work thing getting in the way but I’ve been putting some thoughts together for one this week that will be out later today.

    Good Luck this week.
