I am cashing the few LU’s I have but can only win 4 tickets if Westwood can win which seems doubtful now so would like to see Hughes pull off a big win after all of those cuts.
Good for Sungjae! He didn’t make it on to my 4 lineups this week but that’s only due to roster construction as I’ve been backing him a ton lately so happy to see him break through, and he contributed to my MKF success today so didn’t mind him going low.
It’s a small world
Sungjae IM’s caddie this week is 🇨🇦 Albin Choi who is a professional golfer that live in the Jupiter area and speaks Korean – he also was part of Team Canada’s development program that Mac Hughes was part of. In fact The two of them are great friends and Albin was in Hughes’ wedding party.
Definitely a comfortable pairing for Mac and if Sungjae holds on to win, this will be Albin’s biggest pay day in golf as well
Fleetwood says it’s not over yet! What a clutch putt…might get that playoff after all
Apparently Tommy not dead yet nor going to let Sungjae have it
Cmon Lee! Up and down for birdie!
So Sungjae just going to watch golf and not go hit a few balls to warm up ?
Edit – guess he knew that he didn’t need too as Tommy choked
It’s over as Tommy rinsed one
So, Fleetwood STILL has not won on the PGA tour and the highest DK priced golfer is AGAIN not worth it.
Awesome – Albin Choi serves as his interpreter as well 👍
If there is one thing I learned about today I think today was my one shot at a big DFS score and I failed miserably LOL..the rush for 4 days was pretty cool though..it’s funny I crushed a 23-1 shot at Gulfstream today and with all the exotics and verticle wagers in about one hour I won about 4500.00…i was like shit this is going to be one hell of a day thinking I’m crushing dfs then I see all my lineups tanked..I think I prefer the one hour sweat rather than the 4 day tank..😂😂
At least my golfers managed to do enough that I can play next week.
Wow I had thought Fleetwood had won on the tour he must have been a bridesmaid many a time then.
Oh I think 3rd place was still worth it as he’ll end up on the optimal lineup and the other high priced guys MCd like Brooks and Fowler
Sungjae is the DFS peoples champ. Of the four majors this year which one is he the best suited to play well in?
Big bounce back week for team Dunzor!
Final tally across DFS and MKF:
DFS = I had 2/3 6/6 and 1 5/6 on DK and on FD my only lineup was 6/6.
Best DK Lineup: 376.5pts
FD lineup: 356.8pts
DK: $75 in > $175 out = +$100
FD: $30 in > $90 out = +$60
Day 1 MKF = +$700
Day 2 MKF = +$500
Day 3 MKF = – $300
Day 4 MKF = +$1900
Total MKF Net for the week: +$2800
Congrats to the other winners this week and to the marathon man Sungjae Im!
I think his game might be best suited for The Open in general but I haven’t looked at this years courses yet to say for sure
Idk how you do it Dunzor, you are a MKF rainmain, you’re never wrong on that site, I can’t even pick a 2/2 correctly
I’m still wrong a lot but I’ve been right a lot more than 1/15 times on my 5/5s so I’ve managed to grow the bankroll
Nice week but hard to believe you made more than 2x on DK with a 376.5
That was only a $10 win in the $5
My best 6/6 was 427.5; it was 10x win but I had a bunch of 0x and 1.6x so just break even week for me but it did win a handful of the $20 Players tickets as well.
I think if I played 150 entries this week I might have had close to the nuts as I had good amounts of Sungjae, Fleetwood, An, Berger, Westwood, Henley, Garnett and McNealy.
I missed a 8/8 in NBA last night by one player but hit a small hockey 5/5 this afternoon for 75.00. Thank you MKF as I bled small losses to DK week after week.
Only barely above 2x due to some head to head and triple up wins with the same lineup and all 3 Mayo lineups cashing (that was my total DK, not just the best of the 3)
Optimal lineup from Linestarapp website
Pos Team Name Salary Scored
G Mark Hubbard $6700 74.5
G Sungjae Im $9300 103.5
G Tommy Fleetwood $11600 88
G Mackenzie Hughes $6100 90.5
G Daniel Berger $8900 78.5
G Brendan Steele $7100 75.5
$49700 510.5
Yea, you’re right, 3rd is probably not a bad value compared to a lot of other weeks.
I went 18 – 9 in the H2H beat the forum using two lineups. That actually helped me break even overall on DK for the week. Didn’t hit the core too well.
My main lineup (441 pts) was good for only third place in the Happy Meal, yet managed to come in first in a much larger 378 team GPP. I can now afford to supersize at McD’s for the rest of this decade.
