any chance at +2? asking for an ex-friend named Lowry.

    No.

My screen has some nice green on it because the best of my 4 is 121st in the Tour Birdie and in some other contests. But Lowry just crapped all over it with his remarkably lame round.

P.S. I can’t even figure out what he did on 17 to get that triple.

Cam Smith, Jaegerbomb, and Rai all draining some putts that are going to give Even some life.

31 looking like the most likely number of PM/AM to get in at Even or better.

  • titanhawks

Grace working hard to make the cut for me in one LU but most all else looking indifferent to my needs

I don’t think Reed even cares about anything anymore

  • titanhawks

oops; looked at wrong LU; my 6/6 only 16 out of the cash line and 82 from first in the EURO Birdie

  • RudyPujols

Leishman already has two 3-putts inside 40 ft thru 6 holes. And he’s playing better than Tony. That featured group is in a serious funk.

  • Jeddy3

This PM wave is pretty brutal.

  • titanhawks

Reverse jinxes DO work; Reed 29 foot bomb for b2b birdies :)

+2 picking up a little bit of steam?

Yep, from 2% to 20% in an hour. PM playing almost 2 strokes worse than AM.

And that’s after playing almost same yesterday. Gonna have to stay drastic though with 38 guys in the clubhouse at +1 only takes 28 from AM/PM to kill +1.

Will some kind person please explain the reasoning behind this stat.

I have always thought it was because of the wind picking up in the afternoon in Texas.

But, there is no wind this year.

I can’t stand that guy from a betting standpoint. He’s won, he’s made money, but he auto shows up on my do not play list.

If he misses the cut I’m done with him forever.

The Russell playing round 1 at 9:10

is very different to the Henley playing round 2 at 13:25

    but why ?

Is it the lack of backspin on the greens ?

  • Jeddy3

    Duffman +7 today is gross.

  • tracermat

    they have much daylight left?

  • ifthethunder

Posted about that this morning. (But didn’t think about it when I made my s.d. lineup.)

The wind and sun dry out the greens in the afternoon. Makes it much harder to stick it near the pin. Do I have proof? Nope. It just seems plausible. I was feeling great about my 6,200 punt, Graeme McDowell, yesterday. Today he’s plus 3 and still has 8 holes with which to m.c.

P.S. Straka same story. I hope they call it for darkness soon. I think the players out there have a much better shot at finishing well in the A.M. That’s how it worked out for Sungjae finishing round 1 this morning.

Play stopped in Houston because of darkness. None of the afternoon starters finished Round 2.

All I need is -1 through 3 of Doc Redman’s holes tomorrow and I salvage a solid 5/6

  • mogan11

Walked the back with homa and burns, then walked with killa keith for 6 holes. Weather was absolutely perfect.
