Bif is the fifth element … the supreme being…. Havnt you been watching the thread.

geez miami I know not to quote guesstimate numbers to you. I prefer someone who answers a question as honestly as possible than not have any answer at all. Am I missing something??? was he just totally wacked and the answer was false/wrong?

I didnt ask him a question though. I simply stated that “5/6 is very much alive to cash”.
Which seems like a pretty obvious statement. I get it, Im not part of the old boys club here but come on

You can snub Bif if you like. I happen to respect his opinions, knowledge, and free advice he gives us.

    Thanks Bif.

  • miggs6876

I have 7/8 with Rahm being my lone wolf. I’m 50 points from cashing. No Duff .

Realistically, I have no chance of cashing.

Next weeks pricing is up for fd. Moving on…

I do too, when he isnt just making isht up to be contrary

    @DefinitelyMiami said...

depends on if you have/had DJ or Rahm. 0% chance if you do/did. Otherwise “20%” it doesnt even matter if its 5/6 or 4/6 or what contest you are in, BIF is all knowing apparently

I agree with the all knowing part but the crap you spewed before that was not even mine besides the 20% comment – still not sure how you think more 5/6’s are gonna cash in this event but you’d rather try to discredit others opinions when it differs from yours without any supporting info from you besides “being alive to cash”

They really are not rocking, two line ups went 6/6 but they are at 285 and 249 but I only entered 2 in the 8$

Now I got a few in the 300’s in the satty for the milly which are not even cashing top 100 : (

It’s not making up shit or try to be contrary, it’s DFS experience and straight forward math

Again, most 6/6 are gonna cash this week – high fantasy scoring week so 6/6 is better than 5/6

So that leaves about 7-8% of total entries to cash coming from less than 6/6 and there are 35+% with 5/6 so that is approx 20ish%

Sorry I can’t give you an exact percentage but yes every week many 5/6’s cash; this week not as many will as a %

Hey BIF, DefMiami might be one of those people who believe your odds are 50/50 after removing door number 2 , some people just understand statistics & odds.

    Monty Hall problem.

What were the odds that both DJ and Rahm would miss the cut?
What were the odds that Adam Scott would shoot 66 today? What about Dufner going 65,65?

I was just making the point that if someone has a 5/6 that it isnt over yet.

Stating that there’s 16% 6/6 which means 80% of those will probably cash which means 8300 spots are gone with about 2000 left to cash. the number of people with 5/6 is around 11,000 all fighting for those last 2000 spots. So 2000 divided by 11000 gives you roughly 18% chance of cashing.

Is this thinking wrong or right ?? I’m tired

Whos to say 80% of the 6/6 will cash? I have a problem when people use arbitrary figures and then state things as fact as BIF did. Plenty of 5/6 will beat 6/6s and some 4/6s will beat both. This is like discussing what the cut will be.
pretty lame really when we are only halfway through the tournament

Does anyone know the percentage of lineups with 8/8 on FanDuel in large-field GPPs? Sorry if I missed it…a rather long thread.
