Burns citing the same lower back injury that caused him to WD after a terrible Thursday round a few weeks ago only to come back 6 days later and crush the first round the following week lol.

Do these players still get paid for the event if they WD?

in most tournaments you don’t get paid unless you make the cut. theres a few exceptions, mostly majors.

You only make money if you make the cut

sorry burns, you are 22 years old. You don’t have a back injury

It exposes a flaw in the way I collect stats, creating a survivorship bias in his data.
If he sticks around, then I have a lot of poor play, but if he WD then I may not have it at all – so I only have stronger rounds in there, making him look stronger to my algos.

I’ll have to see how hard it is to adjust for this – or I will just add him to my list of dudes who are hard to call due to injuries.

Since he WD before cut no, I guess if he made cut and WD in 3rd round or something he’d get last place money for the guys who made cut?

  • smallANDflaccid

Money from the tournament itself – but what about sponsorship that they have? Curious if their contract says they have to be out there for some number of holes a season (chance at brand exposure) and this helps them keep those contract agreements and are agent driven.

Reverse jinx on Kuchar. Let’s go.

Just double his R1 score or like double the weight of his R1 stats. Not perfect (since +9 is hard to shoot) but given his weak mind he probably wouldn’t do better than +5 tomorrow.

  • smallANDflaccid

Even if my code spits out Danny Willet or Keegan, I have such a hard time actually rostering them. So far looks like they were right this week.

  • NoLimits0

Man the Joost must have let his putter loose cause it ain’t working so far.

    I like it.

I pull from ESPN and PGA Tour – I think the ESPN side may cause issues there (I don’t recall the issue – will look later I guess).

I would be in too, not for paychecks, your probably a DR or something! LOL

Blue collar actually, just have been lucky and been able to maintain a nice gambling bankroll over the years through some pretty lucky stretches.

I dont wanna bet $ through a forum haha but I’ll go on record and I will say Kuch finishes the day under par. Idk how much me going on record means to anyone however

Well this wasnt fun, that’s $30 lot on fire by 12 noon on Thursday. Time to finally stop playing DFS

  • mr_papageorgio

Sungjae should put a pail and shovel in his bag with all the sand he’s hitting into today. I swear every time I look at ST he’s in a greenside bunker.

  • TrustinthePlan

    Kuch with the birdie

  • NoLimits0

Hey reverse jinx worked with Kuchar. He’s got these 5 super hard holes coming up so if he goes E in these it’s pretty good.
