Homa screwed me
Just a reminder y’all, be sure to click the green thumbs up box in the header.
Monday morning and GC is slobbering all over Tiger already.
I was posting that more from it being interesting than as a guide of any sort for plays this week.
Every week 5 guys on here post things like “never again Rose” or “Leishman is dead to me” and that post just shows how 25% of events in the past 1.5 years are won by someone coming off a MC in their previous start.
Wiesberger is in this…..interesting. can he scramble?
Ancer is going to be a beast this weekend.
Just saw Dirt McGirt is in the field!!! It’s been a while lol
Just going through the first go in the pool but lineups will look awfully different.
Nice call out. More nuggets like this from an old story here (2015-2018, says 33 winners were coming off MC’s). My favorite example is Adam Long.
Some of this speaks to the randomness. Also, some of this speaks to the human factor in bouncebacks — miss cut due to doing X horribly, go home and work harder on X than ever before. I think Morikawa also got a little bit of the monkey off his back by MC’ing – no longer all the talk about the made cut streak.

I had Homa too and I still managed to cash for a 3X return… seems like your other 5 screwed you as well..
At the 2016 Memorial, the top 10 had DJ, Rory, Kooch, Fatrick, and Woodland in it. But the playoff for 1st and 2nd was between McGirt and Jon Curran. Golf is weird like that.
Was kind of wondering how he’s in this thing still lol I remember when he was a “viable” target. I would like some pricing (besides Yahoo!).
I wonder if any of the guys who putted really well this week will have a tough time adjusting with pretty big increase in speed that is expected.
And more traditional pin placements. They put the pins more towards slopes last week with the green speeds. This week they should be more geared towards risk/reward with the penalty of a missed green being several inches of rough with not much green to work with coming back.
I foresee more players opting to get into wedge range on the par fives and short par fours rather than being super aggressive.
It was at +600 then went to +350 then went dark/suspended. I don’t recall whether that was 3 back to 2 back or 2 back to 1 back. Had an outright on JT and let it ride rather than hedging. Just like last week, had 125:1 on Wolff and didn’t hedge Bryson. F me.
Definitely going right back to SG around the greens in my build(s).
Saddle up Benny An! I’ll probably hit Bud Cauley as well. Hopefully their ownership is low coming off of the Workday.
133 golfers this week. Down from last week, but still more than the normal 120 here. I like it.
Are any golfers below $7000 on DK ever in the winning milly lineup? Or in any of the other big contests? I feel like I’m waiting my time looking under $7000 for golfers.
Cauley ranks high in both approach out of the rough and scrambling from greenside rough. That’s important at this course, provided you can still find more fairways and greens than not. Unfortunately, Bud is below average in both.
Henley is a guy who checks all the boxes, but I don’t see him as an entrant this week. Too bad.
Just a little update on #BeattheForum. Currently the Forum members lead 152-137 over the volunteers with titanhawks up this week.
Appreciate the volunteering and good luck.
The BMW and Tour Championship are still available and has anyone seen mtdurham anywhere posting on RG recently? Just looking ahead and he’s the only one I haven’t seen.
Probably haven’t cut it since Thursday or Friday. A week in my yard is a couple inches.
well thats kinda dependant on the rain. I would say Fridays was enough to get it to grow enough to cut and still be long enough.
Lol. Cracks me up every time.
I can say that when they were tied Rose was -125 to win.
I almost bet my account balance and something stopped me. I think it was the account balance thought.
I would say there just about always is but I’m not sure. C Hoffman was on the winning lineup this past week (he was $6900). I know the few times I’ve finished high in these big pool GPPs it’s because I’ve had the guy that is <$7k and like 1% and you get a top ten
Wolff was $6800 two weeks ago and finished 2nd
Seiffert was cheap this past week and finished 4th; can’t remember Burns price but he was probably under 7K as well
Not many but usually 1-2 of them finish in Top 10-12 most weeks – this week the field is stronger so maybe only one makes it to the Top 10
