    Lol at Rahm’s price…what?

    I don’t think people realize that Jon Rahm hasn’t won a full-field event on the PGA Tour since January 2018 (He won the team event with Ryan Palmer last year). Just sayin…

    Based on his play since the restart though it’s not really a joke.

    Rose $8900!!!!!!!!!!!
    Leishman $7800!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Dahmen $7100!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Definitely making a lineup with all 3 of them in it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    They were only +31 combined last week through just 2 rounds each

    Ya….he had EIGHT birdies and an Eagle yesterday. If Bryson did that people would pay 15k for him

    So, you’re saying he’s due for a win?

    Rahm at his price doesn’t need to win to be on a winning lineup. Bryson at his price does and won’t

    Right now planning a full Bryson fade

    I know Bryson hits long, but doesn’t Rory’s ball always end-up right next to his? It was kind of awkward to hear the announcers before every tee shot of Bryson last week going “ALRIGHT, Heeerrreee we go!” Seems like several guys bomb it out just as far, even though Bryson might be showing higher averages right now.

    He has one of the best Career Top 10% on Tour. His equity is in consistent Top 5’s/Top 10’s. Whether that includes WGCs and dumb crap like the Hero, I do not know, so maybe it’s a bit misleading. I think he is underpriced and I will be hammering the guys in the $9k range and not even hesitating for a second to full fade Bison.

    I think a top 3 is fine depending on roster construction.

    I think Bryson has passed Rory in distance but I think Cam Champ is still right there with Bryson.

    Rory is still the best driver of the golf ball in the world until a large sample size is available. In 2019, the disparity between leaders for the season in SG per round metrics and 2nd place were:
    .064 (Putting);
    .038 (ATG);
    .059 (Approach, unless you count Stenson who didn’t play nearly as much as JT and everyone else at the top); AND
    .442 (OTT, Rory).

    That’s astounding, jaw-dropping, absurd domination in an aspect of the game relative to the field.

    Ancer/Berger/Woodland/Rahm/Scheffler/Poulter

    Seems that pricing is on the soft side

    I picked Hideki for weekend golf and he sucks. As usual. However luckily Billy Herschel, Patrick Cantlay on Sunday, and Charley Hoffman bailed me out to a 2nd tier cash somehow for weekend golf.

    Fading Hideki this week again on 4 day. I’m sure he’ll win now.

  • Awon1

    Jon Rahm is egregiously mispriced. Even if he sucked on Sunday he’s mispriced.

    What has Hovland done in the last few years that’s anywhere close to Rahm?

    Tony Finau only 8.3k now. Gotta think he’s mispriced too. It doesn’t even matter the recent form since a lot of that is putting, which is fairly random.

    That’s 1 golfer you could swap him with but where should Rahm be? You can’t have 7 or 8 $10k golfers. You’ve got to have Bryson, JT, Rory, DJ, and Cantlay ahead of him. If you slot him in 6th he’s going to be in the 9800 range. So he’s mispriced by a few hundred, I wouldn’t call that egregious.

    Another one that seems low but every book has him around 20th best odds. I had him at 8.5k, where do you think he should be?

  • RudyPujols

    Man I wish Henley and Seiffert were in this field. That’d be two no-brainer scrub price picks I could throw in the pool with relative confidence.

    Its a tighter course this week then dechambeu win the other day. His drives this week are probably o.b. this week

    One must consider this, at the Rocket he hit 60% of Fairways, if that falls under 50% this week, he will most certainly not dominate the field.

    Everyone has a really bad week from time to time. Overall, he has been one of the most consistent cutmakers on tour.

    My cheap sleeper of the week is going to have to be Tyler Duncan at $6300 on DK.

    Made the cut at all 4 events he has played since the break. 38th, 28th, 32nd and 53rd. 8/16 rounds below 70.

    Very accurate driver. Won the RSM classic in November and shot a 63 in the 2nd round at the RBC Heritage, another tough, second shot course.
