I picked a bad week to go 100% Keegan.

Well, hindsight is always 20/20, but the dude is lethal on approach shots and abysmal around the green. And the rough around these greens can be pretty mean. I don’t mind a guy laying up from 283 when he is typically a great full swing wedge player and a terrible chipper, particularly when the area around the greens is not forgiving. But he’s got to execute the damn wedge shot AND not 3-putt to not look stupid, and he biffed on both.

Vast majority of players are laying up on the par 5’s even when in the fairway. I think everyone is deathly afraid of getting tangled in the green side rough.

Keegan with the bird on 18 to prove he’s just here to piss everyone off.

The shot tracker is bizarre on that one. Not sure it can be trusted.

Ton of people out there I thought would be doing much better. Gary Woodlawn, for instance. Matt Fitzpatrick. Doug Ghim. (And of course, Billy Ho and the full Keegan).)

Well Hadwin flew off the tracks to end his round. +4 on the last three holes to go from -2 to +2. Wish he would have finished better…

I wondered if your name was a nod to The Wheel. Huge Dead fan. Only 12 when Jerry died, never saw the real deal. But I’ve heard hundreds of shows, ‘72-‘74 being my favorite period.

I saw them a couple times in the late 70s when I was in college. But I spent a lot of years in NYC 12 blocks or so from Madison Square Garden. They’d come to town and me and my friends would order tickets for all the shows. So I saw them over 50 times. The Garden shows were great.

Agreed. I had been playing his sorry ass way too much this year. On paper he always looks like the best option in that low 7k range but his results never match with the data. Freedom is having no Henley in any lineup.

No kidding. Let’s just hope he doesn’t play himself right out of a chance of playing the weekend.

Maybe he can play well enough to get to E by the end of his round.

Kuchar withdrew. I’m doing pretty good at finding the quitters this week.

I heard Day was looking for a water park.

  • ifthethunder

FWIW, Adam Long’s ownership projection was 0.5%. He’s 0.2% in the ‘PGA TOUR $1M Pitch + Putt [$250K to 1st]’ on DK. (Probably be higher tomorrow in showdown.)

    Lol.

  • Steverino01

The real reason play is suspended. They want to show Tiger at last years Memorial tournament.

    Done for the day.
