someone said Day withdrew from the pro am this week. going back a few years …he finished well the weeks he wd from the pro am.

lol had a bug up my butt and went to find the origination posts of KSDT. getting close, back to mid march 2017. It had to be Dewoc, he was a commuter train conductor. Hey Hunker Toe, passed the post where he gave you some shit… it was kinda funny. Jamclea was part of the picture. both he and Dewoc were thick on KSDT.

    Great history report.

Before I lose this data – if you remember that experiment I had last week on maxing the MiniMax vs. single entry – here are those results. A horrible week.

    Minimax: $75 in $7 out – Profit -$68

The only $$ I won in the MiniMax were 7 min-cash entries 3 6/6 and 4 high-performing 5/6. Some of my 6/6 did not cash

My “confidence” single entry was a 4/6 that finished 75/100 in the Happy Meal – had I entered it in the Dogleg, it would have resulted in Profit -$33

So last week – MME was a detriment. Lost twice as much as I would have had I single-entried.

This week I am also maxxing the MiniMax so we’ll do the experiment again. I have 150 LU with a balance of golfers I hope to do well.

  • timusbr

didnt have anything to do . except the things i dont want to do. searched dewoc and came across past instances where Day wd from pro am and finished well in the event. prompting a post i came across that said day wd from pro am is a must play. LMAO its thin but I had to add a 20 LU cascade. So 68 LU’s in the minimax now

  • ifthethunder

I’m repeating last week’s experiment: My 20 in an assortment of 20-maxes, plus the minimax.

I have Richard Flowers in one lineup. Don’t really want to play Day, but maybe I’ll change my mind tomorrow. (Could just change Richard to Jason, I have little faith in either of them anywho.)

Good Thursday Morning & YAY GOLF

Watching Jack speak from the Captains Club ceremony, made me realize how much work he and his family have put in to this tournament and this golf course. All the other speakers made sure to mention the time and giving the Nicklaus’s put in. Rare is the man that gives back more than he receives, and Golf owes Jack a big thank you for that.

Balance week, did not play at the top or bottom.
Up top keyed on Corry Connors & Victor Hovland, surprised Connors isn’t chalky at his price.
In the middle it’s mostly C Hoffman, playing the hot streak for 8300 Alex
Didn’t dip too low at the bottom, M Homa & B Todd overweight, and more than the field on a scary D Ghim(this guy is a super sweat)

59 entries in the $5 DTG

Very little overlay this morning, slim pickings

Rooting against the big names this week, Speith, Rahm, Rory & JT, contrarian if you ask me.

Good Luck this week Y’all, we will need it.

    100% Hoff
    90% Bradley
    60% Spieth, Stanley
    40% Finau, Grillo, Conners
    30% Oosy, Smith, Schwart.
A super tight core with just the hopes of a higher 6/6%.
My very first ride ever on Death Train. Just could not pass up the price of the ticket which allowed the core I wanted.
I certainly do not feel very comfortable about riding on the KSDT Express.

I did not spot any overlay.

It looks like it’s about to rain and it might put a damper on the early starts, lol! I live in the state and it doesn’t look good outside.

I know both the Reds and Indians games got cancelled yesterday. I guess the rain isn’t done just yet.

Spieth’s ownership is confusing to me. He’s #1 in my model and basically on fire right now. Maybe the thinking was he was due for a letdown?

He’s 10% in the $20 and 2.99% (!!!!) in the $3180. So I just got the best golfer in the field at 2.99%. So strange. Any thoughts?

Price + maybe a letdown after Sunday. I have him in 4 of 20. Liked Rahm, Collin Morikawa, and Viktor Hovland from the top shelf just as much.
