It’s hilarious that Kuchar got an eagle and he is still tied for last.

Didn’t expect to see Troy Merritt down there.

Spieth’s ownership is confusing to me. He’s #1 in my model and basically on fire right now. Maybe the thinking was he was due for a letdown?

He’s 10% in the $20 and 2.99% (!!!!) in the $3180. So I just got the best golfer in the field at 2.99%. So strange. Any thoughts?

I plugged his name in the optimizer and to me he was way underweight. I added a bunch of Spieth LUs unfortunately I more matched ownership than beat ownership (10%). I paired him with Cucumber a fair amount.

I was real close to dropping kuch into my SE. Dodged a bullet there.

Jason Day has withdrawn with a back injury. The field size is now 120 players.

oops that was a bad additional 20 LU’s added.

  • Baysman

Fowler missed a 4 footer. lol. Dude.

too lazy to go back and look, but wasn’t the possibility of him being a WD discussed on here yesterday?

That should be a pinned topic when it comes to Jason Day.

  • Baysman

These short misses are going to come back to bite Fowler. Missed a 4 footer and now missed a 7 footer. Both for birdies

I think Kronlund reported he skipped the pro am yesterday. I needed to thank him for that, because I withdrew a few Jasons before he could withdraw himself.

Yes..it was mentioned and noted he was still waiting for birth of 4th child.

It was a hunch bet, and if I wasnt wasting time, I never would have felt the desire to add them. Its a loss of $10. (20 in minimax). not important in the scheme of my week where I have a single entry in about $50 worth of contests.

Jason Day is always a risk…which makes him appealing if he gets a top 10 or better and you capitalize on it.

just shake your head and forget.

My only Nick Taylor lineup is also my only Bubba Watson lineup. Bubba DGAF DFL incoming.

  • ifthethunder

Wow. Beeze is making some clutch par putts. If e-Grill were putting like this, Emiliano would be 4 under.

  • Baysman

Only Russell Knox would double bogey from the middle of the fairway 130 yards out.

What’s up fellas!! Just finally getting the tv on. Single lineup this week. Changed it up this week. Doing a few contests to try and get some more US open tickets, have a few $5 double up lineups in play, $40k caddie $5 single entry and of course the happy meal. Been in a slump so hopefully I can have a good week. Wyndham, Mats and Reed going now with Gooch, Streelman and Hovland going later. Pretty decent start so far. Not a big Reed fan but wanted to play some different guys this week so maybe I’ll become a fan. For this week at least 😂

    Does Bubba even care anymore?

Just logged on to see Jason Day withdrew which kills my single bullet 1 hour into the event. See you all next week!

Troy Merritt 44 1/2 footer for bird.

Spieth came in at 7.35% in the $200 SE I’m in; a little lower than I expected as I was guessing 10%. I don’t have any Spieth as I was not going to overweight so just faded.

Finau who I have is 35.01% owned in $200 SE

Other guys I don’t own that I’ve seen owned by others that came in higher owned than I expected in the $200 SE
    Stanley 34.9%
    Xander 27.1%
    Hovland 26.4%
    Keegs 25.2%
Hoffman 23.5% (I have Hoff in other GPPs)
    Streels 20%
    Oosty 18.8%
    Fitz 16.4%
    Reed 15.1%
    Woodland 15.1%
    Wallace 14.3%

Ownership sure gets condensed in higher dollar single entry as half the golfers have near zero ownership

I have no idea what is going on with him; I have in a season long pool where I’m 10th out of about 200 and he is the main one holding me back.

Nobody pouts harder (nor looks like they don’t care) more than Bubba when he isn’t playing well

I think most people are still cautious with him even with his recent resurgence. I don’t have last year’s salaries, but he was probably around $8K and not high owned. He was an absolute stud early on in his career, but then went on a very long slump.

I think most people just decided he wasn’t worth the risk at that price.
