Anyone have thoughts on Ryan Palmer? I never really play him. Need a cheap guy to fill in my lu. He is 8.4k on fd.

I like palmer for this tourney. Has experience playing in strong fields and ranks out higher-mid range in my stat profile. Experience was my main focal point for choosing him as a low end option. May not win but I feel he could pull a top 20.

He has been pretty good all around but the putter has let him down. I don’t hold too much leverage on the putter because that can change tourney to tourney quickly

Should I be worried about Tiger? Anyone has some insight?

  • UrFaTE88

Winner: McIlroy (still not over his bad start at the open)

    Fade: Brooks/Dustin/Day/DeChamblow

Sleeper: Wolf/Piercy (if you can count those as sleepers in a strong field lol!)

I’m sorry.. is that all you think a caddy does? His livelihood is a joke to you?

    Just messin with ya ;)

So I’ve got 4 lineups in the $5 and those 4 lineups are also in over 100 other mini max, quarter and dime contests.

Should i be worried about 3 of the 4 lineups having both Brooks and Woodland?

My fingers really feel like tinkering.

Yes. He had some light practices before Augusta and he still won the damn thing.

No way to know for sure if he will feel fine one day and not so fine the next. Go with your gut.

Playing Tiger Woods is a lot like playing Raonic in tennis. Both with bad backs that can stiffen up at any moment. Roll of the dice. They’re both on my DNP list for those reasons.

Thats quite the risk in my opinion! Brooks just coming of a win recently and pretty much guaranteed a spot in next weeks match.
Didnt Woodland just have a baby?

Again just opinionated thoughts from a simpleton lol!

    I wouldn’t touch Tiger with a 7 iron.

Then again, I’m a Tiger hater and wish for him to miss every cut because I hate how the networks want to show Tiger walking to his ball, scratching his ass and pretending to be injured, while not showing guys that are beating his ass.

  • noddy

I think Brooks wants to crush these guys. No letting up from him. He’s feeling it.

Yea I’m torn. Those two have done me well in the past, but will they still have the motivation as before? I do think the new playoff system makes it where everyone, no matter where they are ranked, has motivation to do well. The PGA Tour changed it for a reason. I figure Woodland will either win for the family or miss the cut so that he can go home to the family…ugh

I see your point. Any pivot with same motivation for making it to the next round lol!

Me personally, don’t use both in the same lineup but your prolly smart enough to know that. It’s more so the unexpected so the chance may be the worth……or the downfall….what you willing to risk dude!

I passed on them both so that may be my downfall

He’s obviously not 100%. I would think he’d be pretty low owned in that big tourney you’re playing, he’s got that goin for him

This FedEx Cup Starting Strokes for the Tour Championship is why this week and next are more important than the past.

The first two Playoffs events award 2,000 points to the winner (quadruple points of Regular Season events).

The Tour Championship features a strokes-based system (FedEx Cup Starting Strokes) instituted for the first time in 2019. The FedEx Cup points leader after the first two Playoffs events begins the Tour Championship at 10-under par. The No. 2 player will start at 8 under. The No. 3 player starts at 7 under; the No. 4 player starts at 6 under; the No. 5 player starts at 5 under. Players 6-10 start at 4 under; players 11-15 start at 3 under; players 16-20 start at 2 under; players 21-25 start at 1 under; and players 26-30 start at even par. At the Tour Championship, the player with the lowest aggregate score over 72 holes when combined with his FedEx Cup Starting Strokes wins the Tour Championship and is also crowned FedEx Cup champion. The Tour Championship win is considered an official victory and the FedEx Cup champion also earns a bonus of $15 million and a five-year PGA Tour exemption
