It looks like I will be eating lots of chalk this week.but I have a very narrow player pool. I am going to try and not to tinker.

does anyone have ownership projections they are willing to share. I’m not too worried about ownership in the FGWC but it would be nice to have an idea of who some of the chalkiest plays are. I can probably guess pretty well but if anyone wants to share a couple of the highest projected for the different salary ranges it would be much appreciated

In other news; Olesen suspended by the EURO Tour until the outcome of his trial set for August 21

I’d fade Poulter this week as he will no doubt be a witness as was there as it went down

    Did Nike drop him?

Here’s what I’m seeing as highest owned in each tier:

Studs: Cantlay a little over 20% and then Rory/Rahm/Rose/JT/Webb all around 16-18%
Mid: X, Scott, Billy Ho, Gary all around 15%
Low (under 8k): Niemann, Coatrack, Wolff, Rory #2 all over 10%

    Cantlay – 22

    Rory – 16

I’ve burned money on Finau all season. No reason to stop now right?

I’ve got a FGWC ticket, guess I should start doing some research. No idea who I’m going with at this point.

I am extremely interested in an 11% owned Finau

  • mattspot10

Should it be a thing this week to be on a couple of the guys currently ranked 71-80 or so in the FEC standings? Is going up to 80 too high? How much ground can those guys realistically make up in this one tournament in order to make it to next week?

Point values are quadrupled for this week and next so a Top 5 can really jump a guy up

I’m all about Molinari and Leishman this week. Especially projected less than 10%

Usually with a decision like that i break it into:

Type 1 Error: I play KSDT and he murders my lineup and I have to go to work on Monday.

Type 2 Error: I don’t play KSDT and he wins and I have to go to work on Monday.

After Which error would I be more likely to have a Full-On Meltdown at Work on Monday?

For me that would be the Type 1 Error. I think if i played KSDT over a safer play and he murdered me in the FGWC.. I’d be more likely to have the meltdown. But Im not sure I’d consider Glover really any “safer” and Furyk is “too safe” for my usual style… and Piercy has a lot of injury uuestion marks… so that’s a tough call…

Just remember KSDT did not attend a single football game while at Clemson…

Then again. That death track is fire.

So, Sergio Garcia is going to make my player pool.

Checks the par 5 box, SG: Tee box as well as some various yardage approach numbers.

Kind of scary but it’s not like he has been Phil Michelson bad…. right?

ive decided to just stop playing Sergio. I get the play, i really do.

But fool me 18 times, shame on….. well screw it i might play Sergio. But if he screws me one more time!

I can get down with fading the Cantlay chalk. I get he checks all the boxes, I just feel he hasn’t “proved” anything to me yet. Maybe he’s just a guy I’ve been too stubborn to come around to but I see better plays just about everywhere near him IMO

  • js5734

Why would poulter be a fade just bc be witnessed what olesson did on the airplane? I don’t get that at all – I think he’s a solid pivot off of the Neimann chalk

I am seeing projections over 20%. Sure he’s been playing good lately, but he’s also not as proven as the other guys around him (Kuchar, Fowler). Those two have played in competition here as well.

I’m gonna pass on chalky Cantplay.

  • Sean2219

    Thoughts on Cantlay/Straka or Thomas/tringale?!?

  • mitchsnyderdfw

Really surprised there has been little talk of Molinari this week. Price is great, coming off rest after a Top 15 finish in The Open.

I’m starting to feel like he’s the “new” Finau. For the most part I haven’t “missed out” by not rostering him. 20% seems crazy at that price tag!!!
