The big $25 is only 58% filled with 15 hours to go, does it get there?

    Winner – DJ
    Fade – Fowler/Rose
Sleeper – Hoag (bare min 7k on fd)

Hoag made my DK late round 1 LU @ min price 6K

Not the worst we can do but needed to have room for the bigguns early :)

I withdrew from some contests this week.
Final no cut for a while, but really feels like a complete crap shoot.
Entered this happy meal thing though.

3000 entries in a little over an hour so it probably gets close by morning lock – see what’s it’s like at 11pm and that’ll give you a good idea as a lot of people enter lineups in next 4-5 hours

  • Kingspark35

Using my showdown mode for this.

I do not have a scooby-do who will win this, but I do have an idea about what a 6/6 will look like

I took 2nd last week so dreams come true. Lol….I don’t post much but it’s a great forum tournament!

  • titanhawks

    LOL!

We love our lurkers and we still don’t mind giving up our valuable info to the masses to our little league

    (Henley and Ancer FTW)

seven more for the Happy Meal

Anyone watch the charity 9 hole thing today?
On the fence on Leishman so I might as well be swayed by a meaningless exhibition match lol

I can’t watch it here, but how does he look?

For $100 more, you could have Louis Oosthuizen or Shane Lowry…

Wolff is the chalk bomb and I didn’t even know he was chalky.

    Redman in that range

  • BrianVT

I hope Ancer hasn’t been jinxed by this forum because I’m playing him too. He’ll probably miss the cut and some smartass who is reading this now is going to have the hindsight post of “why would anyone play Ancer, he’s…” (fill in 3 random reasons why)

  • titanhawks

    1- due

    2-good at golf

    3- kinda cute

I got four core 3/3 in three LU’s and he is one of them so living or dying here this week with him lol

    1) The Kyle Stanley of $7,700 players this week!
    2) Dude’s first name is Abe.
    3) You know the Ancer!

So you’re on team no Ancer? Well, there’s one willing to take a stand before his first double bogey.

I saw this too. I hate it as I had him at the winner this week. Chalk? I had no clue. I thought I was being clever to pick him being $100 difference in FD when everyone would be on Ancer. Wolfe’s recent form for SG OTT and SG Approach have been great the past 3 weeks. Add in he is getting more comfortable on the tour and I talked myself into this great pick.

2 weeks ago the Chalk Bomb was Koepka T29 after the dismal 4th round at PGA
Last week the Chalk Bomb was Kisner and he finished T3. I liked Kisner last week and even mentioned that on the forum. Carolina boy, Bermuda Grass.

I only play against a group of 15 and he won’t be chalk there for sure.

No, I’m just Ancering your question by being a wiseass.

Seriously, I have Ancer in one lineup out of 10. So not overweight or any such as, but not a total fade.

Also, I have an HVIII lineup. And I have to admit, would it kill me to have that exact same one, but with Doc Redman instead? And the Ancer is no. So I’m going to make a few more lineups now.

P.S. Just started to get around to figuring out what I am doing with this tournament. But now I am ready to over-obsess the entire thing.

In 2016 Draft Kings invited me to the DB at this course in the first week of Sept. I got drunk on the flavored vodka cocktail station (I think Grey Goose?) and my (at the time) wife kept shushing me for being loud. She also shushed me when people next to me would ask who was in what pairing and I would say who – she thought I had no idea who anyone was, cool. She liked Rory’s butt. Get in line lady, get in line. (he won that year)

The following week I won the first NFL $20-something contest (don’t recall if that was $20 or $25) beating out jtbergerson and some unknown going by the inscrutable “SaahilSud”. We had been out hiking all weekend without great reception and I had forgotten I had played 7 lineups, so I checked in Sunday night after going to bed. Was used to seeing the SWONGS of PGA, so when I saw I was in first in NFL I was like ah crap, that’s disappointing, how much time is left – but then saw it was like one play left. For the following week you could see people on twitter saying I was a dumbass for entering double ups and not the big contest. (I won $250k and would have had an additional $100k by coming in 2nd had I entered the milli)

Wife decided she would stick around another year, buy a house with the money, and THEN leave (taking said house). So I got that going for me, which is nice.

So this time of year is always a fun memory.
