Going to cash a 4/6 easily this week, including cashing in the Happy Meal. Lowry absolutely destroyed this week.

After last years tie with Rory and then the humilating 2 stroke defeat after Xander got an eagle on his last hole at this years US open, Ive come to the conclusion that the EU has it out for Xander. Had his orignal driver not been mysteriously deemed illegal, he would’ve taken this thing from wire to wire

Congrats MikeyBayWatch who had a nice run in the MM

So hard to watch for any professional, really.

I’m loving it. He had no business being where he was to start the day.

    JB with a cool 87.

Played a fair bit of Fleetwood as he is overdue to be a factor in a major again and this course fits him better than the past 3 majors by far

Well I got this part right anyways – 50% Fleetwood and a H2H 5/6 LU that scored 364.5 put me $600 to the positive this week.

Also finished 8th in the Happy Meal with the same 5/6 👍

Congrats to MikeyBaywatch and WanderBread for good weeks and I’m sure many others.

I’m just happy that we were done with the BirdieFests for a week !!

I don’t recall ever losing so much on a tournament. I bet about 25 different golfers, but no Lowry. Lost about $1440 in bets on the tournament winner.

My yahoo lineup had Fleetwood/Lowry but I got in a total of one $1 contest since everything else was full.

  • Wander_Bread

In for 237 out for $1,820 including T7 in the SE 75k Dogleg. Was winning 19k at one point yesterday but my guys slid bad today as did many wit Hadwin, Stenson, Rahm, and especially Kuchar sliding. Couple of Eagles from Hadwin and Kisner each this week plus Lowry led me to a big week. Only wish i would have gotten on Shane in the outright markets. Still a great week!

cost myself $5,000…. could have really used that… but thank god that putt didnt drop…. $20,000 would have been freaking impossible to get over… never again man never again…. how does that even happen i ALWAYS play the bankroll drainers…

I remember thinking “well i could save some scrap for memphis next week in case i go”….. yeah dude you saved $4! How in the heck does that even matter? Cost myself $5k being cheap over $4? I spend that buying beer for people i dont know… wtf…

    Thanks for the shout out!

Yeah not a bad weekend at all. I entered 20 lineups and 13 went through for 6/6.

Ended up collecting just shy of $5000

Why would you ever bet on 25 different golfers ?? Even if you hit the right guy, you’d probably barely break even.

  • Steverino01

Finished 726th in the MM. The only 1 of 5 LU that cashed. Todays carnage killed my two 5/6 LU. Spent about $20 in satellites to win those 5 entries. Turning $20 into $150 ain’t bad. I’ve had worse, much worse.

Just remember that you are the guy playing the #BeatTheForum next week so put up at least 30-40 contests in the League

  • Pilobious

Congrats to Shane Lowry for winning The Open Championship featuring Graeme McDowell.

  • wigg_ESEA

Won the showdown round 4 for 10k that helps. Now I need to win 250k for FGWC

  • Brian6035

I was Stenson, Frittelli heavy. Needless to say I got hammered and went from making money to losing nearly all of it today. Oh well such is fantasy golf. Next week should be interesting, great field.

Finished 13th out of 4665 on the FD free roll. Won $8. Almost enough for a Domino’s pizza so that helps.

  • sfguy21

    $120 in $486 + a $260 satty ticket out. Decent week overall.

$3 in $17 out. made money on the stinger ($9) and one free roll ($8). The other free roll busted. just enough to keep golf from being boring. Waiting for the NFL.

  • sox9

That Mayo thing sounds interesting, may have to up the ante for a $15 entry

Haha easily my worst week of the year.

3 highest owned were Rory, Scott and Matsuyama. Oops.

Went 3-32 in the best the forum so enjoy the free money!

Still made back more then I paid for Sattys but only getting $600 back when I had $1340 worth of satty entries stings.

    Oh well.

    On to NFL!

No $5 GPP contest for next week. Now a $10 with top prize of $200K.

Does this mean they’ll bring back the $4 20-max Fore?

Also a WGC no-cut event next week.

  • eruthruff

I lost a little this week, thanks to a core that included Scott, Mats, and RCB (ouch). I’m happy for those who won money, but I hated this crazy tournament. This is really the best weather they can offer? I propose moving the 4th major to the Australian coast, where its the middle of winter but the weather is still much better than this.

In one bizarre $50 contest, I won but lost. Thanks to ties, I cashed but got back only $26 (for a net loss of $24). I don’t think I’ve seen that before.

The only thing saving me from disaster was winning three different showdowns on different days (small ones from about 30 to 574 entries). Round 4 of The Open I paired some early starters (like Molinari), who benefitted from the better weather, with Finau/Fowler/Lowry and that worked out great (243 points). Too bad it was a $1 buy in. I should have entered it in the $33 and won $10k.

There was another (Barbasol R3) I assumed I’d win after three of my early guys went -9 (Straka), -7 (Stefani), and -6 (Munoz). Yet somehow this lineup not only didn’t win a gpp, but didn’t even cash in double ups, thanks to “anchors” David Toms and Wes Roach.
