$4.75 in $12.50 out, not a high roller lol, just learning dfs golf and have enjoyed it this season. Play in our weekly group tournament and a $2 multiplier ever week. Congrats to everyone who came out positive this weekend.

  • Hyak420

Thank goodness for double ups, $4 down for the week with a 4/6. Slainte Lowry on the win, didn’t have him but he killed the course.

  • sivad40

I mostly play the Jukeboxes and it was a great week for me by my standards.

I was in 1st place after Round 3 and I had my doubts on if I was to hold on or not.

  • hbomb57

Lost power for the last 18 hours and missed the carnage. Another losing week. If I had stayed away from the Showdowns I would have broke even. Did JB Holmes talk to David Duval before teeing up for the 4th round. Geeez.

That Mayo thing sounds interesting, may have to up the ante for a $15 entry

earlier in the thread, people made this seem like the absolute easiest Gpp to play and win.
let me remind you that you need to have a good team to cash.

its rake free. So perhaps its abt 15% easier than others. I believe but have no proof that fading the headline picks from the mayo broadcast, helps when shit happens to the chalk. Its a great contest, I play it every week. but my LU’s for the most part have been less than for most weeks this year. Hence I didnt do well in the contest most weeks.

Haha easily my worst week of the year.

3 highest owned were Rory, Scott and Matsuyama. Oops.

Went 3-32 in the best the forum so enjoy the free money!

Still made back more then I paid for Sattys but only getting $600 back when I had $1340 worth of satty entries stings.

    Oh well.

    On to NFL!

Thanks for playing Kbarnhill. sorry it wasnt one of your better weeks.

Next week mtdurham. Now we a get a chance to see the 300 LU a week guy. the absolute king of picking the obvious golfers. It will be interesting if anyone here has the gonads to play against him. I am interested, how he plays this. does he stick with the generally approved 1 LU, or does he mix it up? does he play 20 $1’s or does he mix it up and plays all commers?

Always interesting when a Gpp player plays the cash game.
    good luck mtdurham

  • timusbr

curious, did anyone see a shot by Dustin Johnson this week. I didnt hear his name very much on TV. I didnt see his name much on the forum. Next week Mr. WGC might be a bargain.

pretty much the entire field for the WGC is coming from the Open Championship. should be 78 golfers in a no cut event.

Im going to run the same lineup for all 30-40 head to heads just so its fair and we can see how my best does against you guys best….

i dont claim to be any good at cash games as ive never really focused on them but i do play a weekly $100 cash game vs a friend and have some experience in the $5 private games and such… i seem to hold my own never winning or losing much… thats the problem with cash… unless you’re a complete ANIMAL the rake is just way too high to win money at it…

This will be fun… but golf is crazy… realistically anyone can do great one week and then awful the next….

I’ll set my goal as a .600 winning %…. that will put me on the wall of champions, right?

ive totally removed him from my player pool the last several months… a lot of his value is tied to eagles and top 5 finishes and he cant make any right eagles right now and he’s not even safe from missed cuts…

with the way scoring and ownership break down in DFS golf we always want to be looking for good reasons to avoid the high priced golfers. And there are a multitude of them right now with DJ

ill let other people chase results and hope he continues to stink until he at least shows a semblance of putting his game back together

Yah, abt 20 min to starting the shaving cream post rain delay. abt 5:15pm eastern.

My showdown is behind but I got holes remaining. The course has got to be like my memory foam mattress. the ball will land and stay. This is an absolute birdiefest. It is going to set all kinds of scoring records for a PGA event. Not much DFS money involved but its golf. Rooting for the 41 year old (DK$ 6100) who has 3/19 cuts made this year, 1 MDF in last 8 tries, but is -25 thru 6 holes. He is battling forum darling on many dnp lists K f’n K. and a few strokes ahead of Mr. Par Bill Haas (-20 LoL)

Was up until today. Glad I worked so I didn’t have to sweat anything decent. Haven’t back read but hopefully someone hit something.

Having taken months off from golf and only playing regularly since Masters, I’m interested in what the beat the forum thing. I am guessing someone plays the forum head to head. If you are looking for volunteers, I would do it in the future, depending on the investment required.

Congrats Hermie – way to keep Kraft off the top of the Podium 🎉 🎈 🎉

Kraft choked with a 1 shot lead and 3 holes left; bunkered bogey on 16 and then 3-jacked 17; my day just got better knowing he blew this one 👍

Too bad Sepp Straka wasn’t the one to nab him, might have won more in the $1 GPP I was in

Forever 😂😂 there is DFS Golf about 47-48 weeks of the year

Season starts in September and ends in August then starts up again in September after a couple weeks off. Usually there is also a two week hiatus over Christmas and New Years.

    I agree with Tim,

I love Mayo I think his content is awesome..not that he gives out anything spectacular I just enjoy watching him and the guests he has on. Also Rick Run Good I also enjoy. I don’t find his contest any more or less easier or difficult. Mayo’s videos usually state the obvious and they are more towards the gambling aspect rather than GPP…although they do discuss GPP play…but you have to know to avoid Mayo’s favorite two golfers Luke List and Si Woo Kim LOL…This week for example I faded Rory, RCB and a few others that were mentioned on Mayo and RRG..BUT i did however use a lot of Kuchar even though I knew everyone loved him but I did also.

I have learned there is a lot of luck involved when it comes to figuring out what is the good and bad chalk.

Meh, $142 in $226 out, don’t have to deposit this week, at least that’s a win.

Congrats on the big wins guys

The part that makes is easier is that it pays out 25-32% of the field and it is a 2X min cash whereas (some weeks min cash is $25 when the payouts extend past 30%) most GPP’s if it pays out over 20% you only get a 1.5 min cash or if you want a 2X payout structure less than 20% will cash.

But your are correct that it isn’t free money and you still have to have a respectable team but it plays a lot like a double up contest with upside. Double Ups pay the top 44% of this contest on the weeks it pays out top 950 with 3000 entries isn’t that part away. Obviously being rake free helps.

I was about the same…$121 in and around $150 out. Day’s collapse cost me a profitable week. It still baffles me what the hell happened to him.

About 800 in and 600 out … with 27 milly tickets won at a discount entry … feel like I came close to getting my money back but nothing special. Congrats to all who won and GL next week

DK’s sportsbook has a $50,000 hole in one jackpot to be split amongst bettors of any golfer that sinks an ace.

so no crowns awarded because the 3 chosen golfers didn’t win (fleetwood did come sort of close, though) and then the jackpot was a bust for me because I don’t think any of the 20 or so golfers I bet succeeded in getting an ace
