If you guys are looking for an interesting EURO punt, I’m currently thinking about including Jazz Janewattananond at $6.7k. I wouldn’t call him strictly a links play, but when his approach is dialed in his game should theoretically do well for links golf.

If names were graded on a par scale, he would be up there with the longest par 5s on tour

  • eruthruff

I didn’t notice any discussion of the Corn Fairy tournament last week (maybe I missed it. They had a 773 (!) yard par 5. It was at a bit of elevation (the ball flies maybe 10-15% longer?), but still crazy long. It played over par for the field. The entire course was 7991 yards.

Btw, Norman Xiong missed the cut, again. Not sure why he is now so many miles behind guys he was competitive with in college.

Dough Ghim a solid T19. Scottie Scheffler T29.

Anyone like Paul Warring as a potential sleeper and cheap punt, top 10’s at the Irish open and British Masters this year and top 10 at the Irish Open in 2012 when it was at this course.

Not before your post I didn’t. If I have to play a Paul, I will take him, because I cannot stomach playing Paul Casey ever.
If Warring is on the right side of the draw (afternoon Thursday, morning Friday) I am going to have to take a few shots.

Friday PM is supposed to be dicey from what I have seen, but it is still very early on in forecasting models.

Can you share where you’re seeing this?

Speaking of models, what are people looking at this week? I am looking at SG:OTT, Scrambling, GIRs Gained and Putting. I never weigh Putting too heavily though as I feel anyone can get hot with the putter on any given week. And I don’t want to miss out on a guy who is doing great in the other categories but not putting well.

    Approach.

Still way too early to tel, even Wednesday night it might not be 100% accurate as usually the worst winds/storms are similar to the pop up variety we get down here in Florida as they are more unpredictable on what time they actually arrive

Spieth and Willet paired together. Nice work R & A.

Overall the pairings look good. No Super Groups, at least one spare in each group.

I checked 3 or 4 different sites and as of right now I see nothing that would make me change players.

I like how it takes you straight to the Milly but it say ANY paid contest which should include the league contests but might have to click through the Rory win link for it to count

I’m just playing 6-8 LU’s in the $2 this week since I got skunked the last two Majors and put my (hopefully) best two in the $5 FGWC qualifiers

I think JimmyGolfs gave up on the $5 top two win since it didn’t fill the last two weeks but I always liked playing it

I wonder if the mission I clicked on also counts for the Open Challenge contest for today? So annoying how it’s “any paid contest”, but takes you straight to the $20 MM when you click on the promotion. Hard to tell if I still qualify once I click out of that and scan for other contests.

I always love Draftkings all of these penny promos they offer. I guess this one isn’t bad since I am playing anyway but I can’t imagine many users go out of their way to enter more contests trying to chase these promos. 500 Crowns is worth $0.91 Rory is around a 8-1 favorite to win so you could get the same value by making an $0.11 bet for him to win lol.

  • yisman

I entered a dime contest. Figure I’ll enter a dime entry tomorrow and Wednesday too.

Not much of a prize but why not.

    LOL

Got to love DK on these promos.

Anyways, I will have a few shares of Jazz I am sure. Definitely sticks out as someone who can make the cut and finish Top 25.

I am a smaaaaall time player. But those crowns add up to keep me in the Platinum rewards level even though I only play in the 25cent to $3.

Not to mention when I was a diamond rewards member thanks to the NBA ironman 😎 achievment. That must have been $50 in rewards plus $44 in crowns.

Sometimes I wonder what the bet sites’ algorithms know that we don’t!

Haha, me too! Some of it is driven by public perception. Vegas/bookmakers have to price public darlings higher than they probably deserve to be just to cover the risk (i.e. Tiger sitting at 18-1). On the flip side, you get some really solid golfers that fly somewhat under the radar of the general public and end up being nice value as a result (i.e. Webb and Finau both now at 75-1). But yeah, DK’s pricing follows the lead of tournament odds at time of salaries being released. Straightforward and predictable.

Happy Meal Cup standings are updated. This week’s event is worth double the points.

  • shamrock77s

It is early, but I am putting together some lineup builds based off AM/PM waves because I think half the field gets wiped out on an afternoon. All I have heard about weather in Portrush so far on podcasts is how benign it looks and the forecast models aren’t aligning with that currently.

get someone to enter 1 contest…. The degenerate inside expands it to 20. If your a regular golf player or are playing this week anyway, its just a giveaway to all. With a good chance its a non give away. It was a popular thing when they gave away 500 crowns on the tiger win, the last time we saw this.

I am pretty sure you dont need to enter a contest the moment you click accept. I just filled my mission.
