Hmm that’s weird on ZJ. Ok I might be totally wrong. Well, you’ll see me have like essentially 0% ZJ on TFF. I can confirm that now. I actually have a few guys at 7.5k who I intentionally over owned (thinking it would be a dead range), but not ZJ.

Oh my cash h2h lineup is super chalk. It might be one of the most popular lineups overall. Wouldn’t be surprised if it has like 40+ dupes in the Milly Maker.

Really you don’t think so? I thought because of his price he would be low owned. I was thinking that entire range around 7.5k would be a “dead % area.” I even have a guy like Kaymer super low owned, and he’s got great pedigree too. I thought 6% would be max on ZJ, but I might be wrong.

Just think a lot of people will play veterans and guys with good Open history – maybe not 15% but certainly 7-8 I would think.

why would it be a dead range? there are some really good golfers in there.

all my favorite Euros are in that range!

not to mention he has no linked screen name but plays dfs for a living.

Yes, I’m probably nobody. I do find it interesting how many people reveal themselves after a big win. EDIT

Obviously I can’t handle this place, so I’m going to leave now. If Jim K has to ask questions about my intent, I’m doing something wrong. I don’t want to hassle the guy who had done so much for this forum. Best of luck to everyone!!

Oh because I just thought since you got Grace, Casey, Oosty, and Scott above that range, and Kuchar, Molinari below that range, people might overlook it.

As opposed to sitting at your desk in front of a computer, hoping your boss doesn’t stick his head in and ruin hours of important DFS work.

haha just read this and yep that’s me pretty much today and rest of the week.

    Kuchar safe to make cut?

  • superstars92

I’m essentially done with my lineups. Hopefully, the wind blows in the right direction for me (literally).

^Wait you guys don’t do DFS on your phone?

No one’s safe at the British Open, but yea, he’s higher than an average player of course. I wouldn’t even say the top dogs like Spieth, Sergio, Fowler, DJ are safe (def not Rory who has gone MC-blah-MC-MC). Who knows, the wind might pick up and blow their balls in the ocean.

I think you are OK but some may have felt you crossed the line with comments about knowing where a guy works and how you know its close to you and where you are and got your hair cut.

I’d rather you not leave as we can always use different DFS perspectives.

    yeah, that makes sense.

i’m using the 8300-7200 range as my sliding scale spot for the last spot in my lineup. I have a pretty tight 6500 and under core that I am using while rotating out the 8300-7200 guys.

i really think the person who picks the 6500 and under guy with the surprise top 10 takes this thing. there really isn’t a need to dip that low because of the mis-pricing going on with the 9k guys but there will be a surprise 6500 and under guy and someone from the 8300-7200 range that makes this tournament interesting.

Is there anywhere to get a list of “Euro” guys that you guys are talking about. I don’t know where all the different golfers are from and don’t have time to click through everyone. If this is not possible I completely understand.

I’ve got some cheap H2H’s posted in the DK league if anyone wants some lunch money :)

Finally took a look at my Roster #‘s as I do my final pre-weather tinkering and wondering if I’m too high on the lower end guys I like. Out of 24 lineups I’m around 30% on Dufner and Cink pair that with 35-40% JT, Phil, and Zach if my core hits it could be a very nice weekend although it’s risky. I guess like they say you don’t play GPP’s to min cash. 0% Dustin, Rory, Day, Fleetwood, Brooks, and RCB on the other end.

Anyone whose name is thorbjorn, joost, padraig, Steve fox ( wait that’s tekken ) Si woo or any other weird combination of letters is euro.

Do you mean in the 7.5k range or overall?

Rory, Fleetwood, Stenson, Hatton, Grace, Oosty, Charl, RCB, Noren, Fox, Callum S. Li, Peter U. etc. are guys that are top of my head. Not all are European of course (some are SA, Peter U. is American, etc.) , but a lot of them play at least half of the year on the European Tour. Some like Rory, Grace, Stenson, Charl, etc. play on both tours. Guys like Fleetwood almost plays exclusively on the European Tour.

Streb or Bjork? Looking for a guy in one of the friday PM groups

  • superstars92

Btw, I pretty much know only a handful of the European tour guys below 6.5k. Most of these guys I know nothing about.

Wait, I thought I explained it in my original post.

    My ranking for 6.8k-6.9k are

    1. Sneds
    and very far

    2. Steele
    3. Stricker
    4. Finau

But 2-4 is kind of muddy. Like I don’t really know which 2-4 is the best, so I rotated them in around 33% for each, with a bit more towards Steele.

Isn’t that why people multi-enter and go with one off pivots? Like enter the same 5/6 and pivot the 6th one? Thought every pro does this when they multi-enter?

Wait. You are aware that Sneds is out.

Wait. You are aware that Sneds is out.

You have to read the last 5 pages to get the context. I was answering a proposed question. Basically, I know he’s out so that’s why I did a approximately 33% rotation of my 2-4 guys. I do want to mention I also have RCB in that range, but I already had him before Sneds was ruled out.

  • Dunzor

    @elmore0631 said...

Wait. You are aware that Sneds is out.

That was his point, he was heavy on Sneds but now that he has to replace him, he’s spreading that exposure over a number of guys that he didn’t like nearly as much as Sneds to hedge his bets on that last filler spot

You can also add Poulter, Westwood, and Kaymer. I think these are the Europeans being referred to in the 7.5k range.

So at this point, the weather is basically a crap shoot, and there doesn’t appear to be any clear advantage right? It originally looked like Friday AM was the bad draw, however with how it’s shifted now it looks like the worst weather on Friday will be right in the middle of the day
