    Gentlemen………Start your trucks!!!!

I’m all set for an evening of putting together my lineups. Haven’t posted much lately because of a lack of constructive things to say.

Have noticed the players keep saying they love the setup, “fair” is the word most commonly used. This leads me to believe the obvious picks might just be the right picks.Just need to figure out the over-the-hill guy that top tens, and the under hyped young Euro that does the same.

    2012 Colsaerts T7
    2012 Aiken T7
    2014 Dubuisson T9
    2015 Niebrugge T6
    2016 Kjeldsen T9

and Kjeldsen is pretty well known. Of course you’ll find more who finished top twenty but i don’t think it’s a good idea to throw random euros in who you know nothing about.

No one would ever suggest to just pick a random Euro player to throw in your team. The list you gave are very much known players on the Euro tour. There are many more high calibre known Euro players that have every ability to win and/or top ten this.
A lot of them will be very low owned compared to their skill level. That is why I think a known Euro player with low ownership will be in the winning LU. Then we will all go, “I should have looked harder at the Euros”. Just my take.

Now I’m doing DFS for a living.

Why people support and laugh at your comments …….I dont know? I watch and know you are just soooo intelligent and up on DFS golf. What I dont get is……
    1) what is your game theory preferred strategy
    2) do you ever give picks you like or picks you feel are pigs
    3) who the heck are you?? you not even linked to an anonymous DK/FD name.

It seems to me your best contribution is to troll.

Thoughts on guys like Westwood, Pieters and Hatton this week? All have had some success in past but also not so great stuff too. Gauging ownership % they may all make my lineups

  • yeltonba

Alright I think I have finished tinkering. Final thoughts:

Chalk I cannot resist: Rickie, Mats, and Casey

Mid-Chalk I will be heavy on: Mickelson, Leishman, & Kuchar (I think he is going to end up below 20% for the same reason Rickie’s ownership dropped at the US Open)

Best values based on where I think ownership will end up: DJ, Brooks, & Henley

Fully Fading: Spieth, Rory, Stenson, Poulter, Molinari, Berger, Fleetwood

    Underweight: Scott, Rose, & Garcia

The guys I have that will end up killing all of my lineups: JT, Henley, Kuchar, & Fowler

The guys I will not have that will end up killing all of my lineups: Fleetwood & Molinari

Sneaky Picks: Simpson, ZJ, Henley, Maverick and Howell

The thing I should do to win all the money but won’t – completely fade Rickie, golf is way too unpredictable for anyone to be over 30% owned and this wind will only make it more so.

Decision that will not let me stop switching my lineups around: Molinari or Kuchar

    Good luck!

Right. I thought but wasn’t positive that was your meaning. I’ve followed golf to some degree for a few decades but it’s my first year playing dfs golf. I have looked hard at Euros especially the ones I don’t know at all but there isn’t a lot of info to be found on many of them. My player pool is very close to a 50/50 split of Americans and Euros.

For me, 0, 0, 0 (maybe 1-2 Westwood at most which is a low % for me, but 0 on the other 2 – and I have a lot of lineups so it’s a full fade). I don’t make up a large portion of the entries though, but I think the overall field will be similar to my ownership rates for the most part. I would be surprised if any of the 3 is over 10%. I would be surprised if Hatton is over 7%.

Same with me on these 2. Also Scott to that list. I have them 1,2,3 which might match the field 1,2,3. That’s fine though because I have some contrarian plays elsewhere so that I don’t have super chalk overall on teams.

Alright going to do some non-DFS things. Done with my lineups, but I’ll be back here 20 mins before it starts to make sure no one injured themselves on the practice putting green.

I did my normal few $1 here and there and a QA there and here. Told the better half about the mili maker payout and she asked why I wasn’t in that one. “Outside my budget”. “Go for it”. So did a deposit and a single bullet. Heck, better odds than the Power ball. GL all.

    Interesting story from golf channel.

In a practice round today Jason Day asked if he could drive the ball down teh 10th fairway while on the 9th hole. The RNA ruled that if you hit it that way it is called internal out of bounds and is penalty. Players could do that and shorten the 9th hole or have better angle to certain flags on the green.

  • BlueEdwards

Torn between Sergio/grace or rose/Scott for cash. Little help?
