That confirms the Milly Maker as a 5-way tie.

well BIF, as you know, I am a DFS golfer and the times I actually play, I chunk and ride to find my ball. but this sounds good but also sounds like stretching for minutes. although, the PGA should give caddies a break and let the course look after bunkers.

The # 1 thing i can think of why this is faster is….No waiting on any hole to tee off

What slows down a typical PGA Tour event is driveable par 4’s and reachable Par 5’s (which are basically all of them nowadays). This is because it takes way longer to chip/putt than it does to smash driver so you have to wait on the tee and the fairway for the green to clear.

Only 2 Par 5’s here and no driveable par 4’s on a normal day (yah I know a few guys drove 1-2-3) but most are not driving things here.

….and don’t underestimate walking differences between courses – most of the modern US courses are on large pieces of land and made to ride at so the green to tee walk can be significant.

Man brutal week. Lost about 50%. Way to much fowler and no Tiger. Had some Molinari and the dude is playing lights out not sure why I doubted him as much as I did. Thought I needed to have more of Fowler/Rory/Rose so cut him down to 15%. Lesson learned.

That’s crazy, first time I’ve seen that I can remember, it’s been a solo winner or a 2 way chop in all the recent ones. Super chalk lineup winning it too with Xander the only low owned play

  • whodat2

None of the Americans in the top 10 were under par today. All the Euros were.

  • Dunzor

Well I need either Spieth or Xander to birdie and the other to make par to pick up an extra milly ticket for the PGA

  • Dunzor

    Spieth goes BIFR

  • Dunzor

well across 4-day / weekend / showdown I was $200 in > $100 out so a 50% loss including my first attempt at 20 lineups. I was 35% moli, 50% rose, 30% tiger but too many landmines and only had 1 6/6.

How did it go for you BIF with your ridiculous number of Milly tickets and the other big tournies you got tickets too?

  • krighton

played $205 winning $16….worst loss i think ive ever had….going to have to say goodbye to PGA

I have used Xander a bunch, I liked his stats and CH’s I guess.
Today, I am thinking he has the heart of a lion. Yes… wasn’t stellar Sunday but good golf. Winning in Atlanta last year and finishing well in the majors. He seems to rise to occasions and someone I will be looking at closer.

Ya I will be locking him in at strong field events on tough courses from now on. I dunno if he can keep up in a true birdie fest if he’s not coming in on a hot streak, but on a tough grindy set up gonna start playing him much more

4-day was a loss as my Dome ticket didn’t cash – I had lots of Rose (50%) so that was good and 75% Koepka was ok for DK scoring as he made some birds.

From a cash invested perspective it was about a 5-10% loss but feels a lot worse as I had 2 $125 FGWC tickets, 1 $980 FGWC ticket and a $5300 Dome ticket that all didn’t cash.

I don’t think I cracked the top 2K in the Milly so just lots of $30/$40/$50 cashes- I was in 350th earlier but Noren and Fleetwood made simultaneous Doubles to drop it hard.

Weekend Golf saved me placing 20th in $150 and Won 12 Milly tickets for next Major on just $70 of entriws

  • MrBreeze

I did min cash in the milly w a 5/6

Not to bad of weekend. Spent 122.00 (10.00 of that was for weekend golf which I shouldn’t have played.) Cashed for 110.90 that is a win for 4 days worth of gambling.

Just found this news tidbit. maybe he was drinking at the 19th hole today while waiting.

Meanwhile, Eddie Pepperell, who admitted to playing hungover after having too much to drink, posted the round of the day at 4-under to get to -5,

  • manoffewwords

Since DK has gone to mostly top heavy contests. Lost $620 in 20-35% top prize. Won $215 in single entries and 10% or less top prize. I finally have a game plan.

I just looked at next weeks contests. All extreme top heavy. I am sure they will post some smaller contests with reasonable payouts. Seriously, since most players ,love these top heavy payouts, am I the only one losing? Seems no one else is concerned the way DK is going in Golf contests<

Doesn’t he have some decathlon background or his dad trained him some way? He might be one of those mentally tough golfers I’m looking for.

    Rose/Grillo

    or

    Koepka/Leishman

    I made $25 this week.

I asked the above question on Wednesday and I chose Rose/Grillo for cash. The decision only cost me 11 points, but those points cost me $72.

Great Open, and happy to come out ahead.

Ended up even for my week. $325 in and $325 out.

Except I did get the two tickets for $444 and $150 on top of all that.

So overall good week. Thanks Coop for getting those tournaments.
