I play NFL predominantly but I’m here for the Open this week. Adam Levitan wrote a great piece in June about winning strategies for the Milly Makers in the NFL. I’m not sure it applies to golf because, well, it’s about football. One very interesting stat, 86% of winning Milly maker LU used (edit: at least) 49.8K of the 50K cap. Interesting read.

So what do I get out of having people stake me? dont think they will give me 20% over entrance fee.

Cant find to anyone to buy my LU’s. Hell, I couldn’t give my LU’s away

Earlier in this thread someone posted that 83% of lineups used 49.8k of the 50k cap. Seems like there isn’t too much of positive correlation there in that case.

    that must mean 49.8 – 50k…not exactly 49.8

This is your reminder that last Milly Maker, 83% of lineups spent at least $49,800. If you want to differentiate, leave $300 on the table.

    94.5% Played $49,500 or more

For those playing in the OAD, you WILL NEED to make a pick for the Barbasol tournament.

And I picked to hold a spot and can’t change it.

Correct, I edited that in. I posted the story b/c I think he makes some points about strategy that can apply to golf, too. Some dfs strategies are universal.

  • MrBreeze

My top 3 lineups used are 49,700

    next 3 are 49,800

    then after that 48,800 48,900 ×2, 49,000
