Bif… i’m glad you mentioned that btw.

I think Fowler might be a better straight up play that Rahm at this point anyways, for sure he’s safer up at the top. Rahm has proven to be pretty volatile lately, that being said, he could go off, and he might have the highest ceiling other than Rory/DJ

sending now…. the league invite to rotogrinders Golf forum by JimKronlund

Also to everyone, I just made 30+ leagues, I want to use 10 of the leagues to have a player core but need 12 people to agree on a plan of action…….Is that possible??

that means I have 20 leagues to sign up anyone who wants to play. taking suggestions if they have ideas.

    I am in…let me know.thanks

Its crazy but I think Rickie is going to be way underowned. I’m seeing Rory in the high 20s-low 30s… I feel like he will be about that, but projections are low for DJ and Spieth and no way they drop under 15%. Hideki will be somewhere around 20-25%. If Spieth and DJ are higher owned it will be at the expense of Rickie.

Right now I’m looking at 75 Rory lineups, 50 Spieth lineups and 25 DJ/Rickie lineups. I’ll be way under on Mats. But I’ll have a lot of Rickie with either Rory, Spieth or DJ.

I might go even higher if he wears his all orange outfit on Thursday….

Rickie was projected 2nd highest owned in the one I saw at 21%ish

Berger was shockingly higher than I expected at 17.5% my guess was around 12 given the love for Casey at basically same price.

I wonder if the thought process is….I am not going to win this year (major), but I am going to use this opportunity to push the limit of my trial. Or is it I just need a little extra to get me into the chase on Sunday.

LOL, wish I was in the inner circle to see the thinking.

It’s probably nothing but I saw his tweet showing he “made the switch to the X” so I wanted to share.

Yeah, I’m looking at the RG Premium DK projections and Spieth is waaaaaay to low. If Spieth bumps up I feel like Rickie has to come down and with Hideki’s monster week at Bridgestone I think he will end up being higher than Rickie.

Agree about Berger. I thought he would be around the 12-15% range.

I just dont understand why ppl keep playing Fowler in Majors….he isnt going to win one and is always owned

  • Alex3McG

Was at practice round yesterday and greens are incredibly fast and firm, one specific instance was the 10th green, IF the pin is middle of the green its gonna be incredibly difficult to score as it has a false front and slopes away on the back side making approach incredibly important. Watched multiple guys land near hole and watch it role completely off the green

  • lfn1992

The issue with Spieth is that if he’s not T5 he’s such a salary drag on your LU that he doesn’t return value. At least that’s what I keep encountering when I am trying to build LUs. Whereas if Fowler does the same you pay $1300 less for the same score.

Not saying I won’t have any Spieth but it’s simply harder to make him work, especially if you want another stud paired with him like Hideki

I think green speeds helps the better putters, Fowler/Speith/ Stickers of the world.

There is so much value below 8k that you can get any two studs you want in any lineup….and , imo , Fowler wont sniff a T5

Guys like Phil, Fowler and Casey always scare me in majors as they can all make a double so easily to de-rail all momentum.

I know other guys do it too but these guys all do it after getting into the lead, when ties for the lead or right after a nice 3 or 4 Birdie run where they’ve climbed up the leaderboard.

I expect that stuff from the Kyle Stanley’s and Luke List’s of the world but not the top echelon players in a major.

you cant even remotely compare Fowler to Phil…..one has won plenty….the other not so much

I really needed to reduce my player pool, so finally made executive decision to pull out Rahm, Mickelson, and KSDT.

Berger and Casey are both going to be high owned because DK doesn’t know how to make a pricing algo – there’s only 11 guys between 8500 and 7500 so everyone here is inflated. It’s funny that Berger was 7% owned at 6700 last major (because DK puts like 50 guys in the 7000-6600 range, and most people use 2-3 MAX from this range and spread plays) and will be ~17% owned at 1000 more.

When was the last time Phil won a tournament, 2013? One player’s career is winding down while the other is still young.

Same thing could have easily been said about Brooks Koepka this year. . . Rickie will win a major, I just don’t think it will be in 2017.
