Nobody allowed to complain in the thread from here on out, unless you’re PhillyDilly

    Huh why PhillyDilly?

Sabloom100 is the guy who lost 1 M. PhillyDilly didn’t lose much. He was 2nd. Sabloom100 was 1st before that Kisner double. PhillyDilly went from 2nd to 4th, Sabloom100 went from 1st to 2nd.

Maybe i’m off by half a pt. Ha

@ superstars92 Yeah yeah you’re right. I was reading someone’s comment before me and assumed they were informed. My bad

Oh so 2 bad beats I see. I didn’t know he was in 1st before the JT bogey. I just saw Sabloom100 was in 1st with Kisner playing the 18th.

So basically, PhillyDilly lost 1 M (technically 850k – 2nd is 150k right?, but you get what I mean) on Thomas’s bogey, and then Sabloom100 lost 1 M on Kisner’s double.

PhillyDilly should blame Thomas and Sabloom100 should blame Kisner. Technically I guess Kisner’s double didn’t hurt PhillyDilly that much.

EDIT: well I guess this is if PhillyDilly was indeed in 1st before Thomas’s bogey. Seems like some disagreement here.

Anyways, regardless, Sabloom100 definitely had a TERRIBLE beat. IMO the worst beat in DFS history since it was a double bogey (not even a bogey). I guess PhillyDilly also had a terrible beat too if he was indeed in 1st (still not sure, I just know Sabloom100 for sure…the other facts I’m just going off this forum).

Btw, 150k for 2nd is great. No doubt about that, but 1M is life changing…150k isn’t as much.

Last week took an L but this week I bounced back. From 38th to 1st in the Happy Meal.

    Anyways, congrats to JT!!

I didn’t think he would win, but he proved me wrong. Great win by another player in this new generation of great golfers.

Incredible that JT and Brooks both have wins now, and Fowler/Hideki/Kuchar do not.

I had before and after pictures after J.T. was finished and Kisner’s double bogey. It’s in my article on the front page.

This was the change in money caused by the Kisner double…

    sabloom100 1st to 2nd -$850,000
    phillydilly 2nd to 4th -$110,000
    moose69 tie for 3rd to 1st +$885,000
    frankie22briguy 5th to 3rd +$50,000

Ok so since Sabloom100 was beating PhillyDilly by 1.5 points prior to the Kisner double (and they both had Kisner), that means even if Thomas par’d the last hole (PhillyDilly had JT, but Sabloom100 did not), PhillyDilly would have still lost to Sabloom100 by 0.5 points.

Of course, the Kisner double caused both of them to drop and cost Sabloom100 the 1 M. If Kisner just bogeys the last, Sabloom100 wins. If Kisner just bogeys the last and JT pars the last, Sabloom100 still wins (but by 0.5 points vs. PhillyDilly).

Terrible beat by Sabloom100. Worst in DFS history.

Kisner playing next week too…I wonder if the fade the guy that blew a lead narrative will be in full force.

I cashed 1 of my 2 Milly Maker lineups. Feels bad losing money with a 50% cash rate ha ha (I had J.T. but only 5/6 and no one else in top 10).

If Kisner bogeyed or better the last hole (rather than double), Sabloom100 would have won the MM WITHOUT Justin Thomas, the winner by 2 shots. That’s quite impressive. Even if Justin Thomas had only par’d the last hole, Sabloom100 still would have won without JT as PhillyDilly was held back by Adam Scott. And Sabloom100 would have won despite not having JT and with JT winning by 3 strokes, since a par on the last means JT wins the tourney by 3 strokes.

Anyways, since Kisner doubled, Sabloom100 didn’t win and the winner (Moose69) had JT.

That’s crazy in such a massive field and even crazier on a course where scoring was so difficult.

One more interesting fact – Moose69 had Pat Cantlay lol, one of my favorite young golfers. Cantlay wasn’t even that good, but I guess he fit perfectly for his salary in Moose69’s lineup and every one of his points mattered at the end for him to win.

I had both Moli and Oosty on my cash game teams at the British….good thing I didn’t play this week. I’m sure if I played, I would have selected Moli and Oosty again, and they both would have gone MC again.

What was his dk position compared to leaderboard spot?

    2 eagles much have helped.

Hmm good point. I’m not sure. Maybe PC can help with that.

I would guess quite a bit more. I see he has more FP than Poulter (from just looking through a few names) and Poulter finished 2 strokes ahead and had decent amount of birdies + eagle.
