Thank you for that. Now let’s hope he does not give it all back on 18.

Thought I jinxed him. Then he makes par from the fringe!

My guys are having a lot of trouble chipping around the greens today, condition of the rough or something must’ve changed

  • fsupete01

Not a good sign when all my players are missing putts inside 5 feet.

For birdies, I’m not sure what the diff levels paid for crowns but I’m working on Level 10; it pays 1200 crowns for 22,590 birds of which I’m at about 18K so far.

For Clean 18 (bogey free rounds) – I’m also on Level 10 and have 556 BOFR of the 650 needed for 4K more crowns.

How could you be so high? I thought this achievements thing just started? Cause I still show 0s for all my stuff

There is something so much more magnified in emotions when following a showdown lineup vs a full week. In 4-day I’m happy as long as my guys are out there avoiding bogeys and making the occasional birdie so that they can string solid rounds together. For showdown I get pissed every hole that goes by without a birdie and I’m mad at my guys when they make a routine par.

    LMAO,
I think your right. in classic, a birdie is great, watching showdown, I am following the par 5,s and bitching from the tee ….to get the eagle. Part of my irrationality is my classic LU’s are full of a qtr/fifty cent GPP and not going to win much of anything. Where my showdowns are generally $5-12

Woke up to just over 22K birdies now so mine is updating daily – maybe it’s because I have been playing Showdown each day as well so it’s updating everything for me.

Have a day Nick Taylor !!

Only have him in Showdown but I’ll take 7 birds (so far) from a near minimum salary.

    Oh Can a da,

I dont play much Nick but used him in showdown today @6000. I played him with goat rory and (cough) Day. I get a great showing from the studs, I could be real happy.

conners helping me too. Not sure when I applied for the Canadian Visa

Rahm and Rory having some issues – the stage is being set for my Furyk, Day, Scott, Fleet, Bryson and An lineup

Peaked at 3rd on Friday around noon and drop to 2500th or worse and been climbing back since – now around 200th again with lots of holes left

Yah and that means the pressure packed 17th and 18th will decide – should be good !

We almost had an 8-way tie for first had Fleetwood missed his par putt on 5

  • Jamcclea

If Ollie wins I’m going to shit a brick.

  • Dunzor

Ugh Connors misses from 3 feet.

Also what if we somehow got a dark horse Ollie victory against all odds and Jammclea isn’t even here to celebrate it?!

Edit: he is here and he beat me to it!

  • Jamcclea

I bet that sob every week for more than a year. I stopped this year. Ugh.

  • hbomb57

Let see if this record gets broken today though I doubt it.

PGA Tour event that had the most players in a sudden-death playoff?

PGA Tour saw a six-man playoff was at the 2001 Nissan Open, contested at Riviera Country Club (site of this week’s Genesis Open).

After 72 holes of regulation, Robert Allenby, Toshi Izawa, Brandel Chamblee, Bob Tway, Jeff Sluman and Dennis Paulson were all knotted up at 8-under 276. Allenby won on the first sudden death hole.
