I’m so excited already. I’ve been surviving off of watching Masters final round broadcasts on YouTube. I’ve watched nearly all of the 2010’s in the past 2 weeks. My main takeaway is “WTF happened to Jordan Spieth?”

The golf season in the midwest is ready to start, been putting and chipping at the local course and ready to play 36, last year played 175 rounds in five months. I really miss pga fantasy as I was starting to get my rhythm….not really. When we get back at it I will start another 8k and under if there is any interest.

Something called The Cactus League is still operating. Golf deemed ‘essential’ in Arizona.

I guess you could call it minor league women’s golf.

Wow 175 rounds !! Jealous but not sure my body can take that kind of load nor my mind as I’m way too competitive for that.

That’s a lot of golf – I probably maxed out at 120 rounds when I played a ton and didn’t work full time. I now play about 65-70 and max out at 75ish.

Where are you located in the Midwest ? I’m still about 2-3 weeks away from playing as most of the snow was gone and then we got another dump last week that’ll push things back another 4-7 days. My club is still trying to figure out how things will work in the physical-distancing world but I’m being told we should be on the course before the end of the month.

I can’t wait for golf to come back. I doubt NBA will before July so it’ll be golf and baseball.

61 year old Tom Lehman for 6900? I’m in. I’ll take a major winner over these guys I have never heard of!

Nice – I usually only get to play 36 on golf trips with the boys and they are definitely riding – the last time I walked 36 was about 6-7 years ago when a couple of us went to Seattle for 3 days to see a Monday Night game and play 36 at Chambers Bay walking with caddies. I do walk most 18’s I play now but walking 36 is a different beast !

I’ll be sure DM you if I’m out that way – always good to meet fellow golfaholics !!

Its a 31 day month and a day since golf was cancelled.

what do we know about covid-19? – Its a killer, its transmitted quickly
what we dont know about covid-19 – Too Much….testing criteria is uncertain, recovered patience test negative then positive and we dont know if it can be caught a 2nd time(or third..) or if the tests work as hoped. We dont know the supply chain of tests kits to healthcare providers. Every week we hear of new tests that can be used and produced quickly. Some need labs for results some dont. but the results are we dont have anywhere near enough tests, When our golf was cancelled we were told millions of these tests were to hit the streets every week. Just dont see it.

the blame game is now in full battle mode and everyone wants to get back to business as usual.

without mass scale testing with a plan – We cannot get to “normal” life.

This is going to go on for at least another 60 days and the potential to go much longer.
Test Test Test was the WHO’s recommendation along with every virus and pandemic expert. Without testing and more understanding of covid19 we are still blind and easily could go back to step 1 and phase 2(every pandemic in history has had multiple waves).

Hope I am wrong, but we got a long way to go.
On a lighter note Toilet Paper found its way to my store shelves (lol but gone fast)

Noddy, c’mon over to the Outlaw Tour thread; we are playing GPPs where you can win $20K picking 6 mini-tour golfers or amateurs – this week in the field as part of 17 amateurs: we have an NHL player, a kid who won his age group at the Augusta Drive Chip & Putt Finals a couple years ago and a 64 year old 15 handicap…you can’t make this shit up !!
