LMAO, my man Rickie. a first a second and 4 MC. talk about your ultimate risk and reward proposition. (on FD I made my name RickieFowler). I am not saying he is my pick this week but I do love the guy as my favorite golfer..

Quadhole, I like to use 100%. I will use up to 3 guys 100% on a week. This all depends on how I handicap the week and what tinkering will bring. My philosophy of going max LU was because I was tired of 1 LU that missed a guy I liked. I want to keep my core group in tact and do the wheel for the 4th thru 6th spots. Doing this keeps my core tight, gives me a spread, really helps my hand made LU building easier. The result is I go home with my tail between my legs early, maybe catch a break and some money when my wheeling guy wins, or to have a dream Sahil moment where I have 6 of the top 10, 25 of the top 100 and all 50 in the top 500, I really want to blanket the board. to do this more 100% need to be in the LU not less. the flip side is a MC hurts 2 is death on the week.

  • BeeLo16

Not sure whether this is a week where I want to go with a smaller player pool and just ride or die, or expand my player pool since it is the toughest field of the year and really anyone could miss the cut

To Smylie or not Smylie, that is the question

A Reminder that the H2H Challenge first round Group phase is not done yet.

this is week 2 and final week of Group phase. when salaries come out you can make the H2H contests the same as last week.

If you are going to be a late entry, please inform the board to alleviate any anxiety people may get. just a note, your aware and will be done. Also you can take the risk of entering and changing the LU later.

FD golf is up, didn’t do anything special contest wise for the Players, contests appear to all be the same as last week.

I am beginning to think it doesn’t make a lot of difference where Rahm plays… This just might be the course that gets him…
I am showing List, Van Aswegen, M Kim (wd), Stegmaier, Hubbard, Loupe, all played 2015s Web.com tour championship here last year…

Correct if I got any of that wrong..

even though Molinari didn’t do anything positive all weekend, I’ll be on him again this week. Especially in this field, his price should be sub 9k.
    3 made cuts, 3 top 10’s here. Also has 3 mc’s.

NBA almost over with so you guys have to start dealing with me again.

I will start my LU construction like I used to, fade winners from previous 2 years. Fade all guys older than me. Fade Sergio. Google pictures of Paulina’s ass. Go all in on Kevin Na then immediately regret that decision. Fade Sergio some more.

DJ, Rory, Spieth top odds, then a pretty significant drop. Sergio is #4 and day, mats, rahm, fowler, and rose round out the 2nd tier.

Last year’s 6/6 in the big $3 tourney was apparently 2.4%. That’s just ridiculous.

I’d be curious to know what it was previous years. I would think this tournament should be the most spread out ownership on the year. Best field of the year, because unlike the majors you dont have all those guys at the bottom that nobody has ever heard of.

  • wolfshield

Zach Johnson’s CH is insane. 8/8 Cuts Made since 2009. 5 of 8 TOP 25 finishes. This should spike his ownership %. I will be fading due to his mediocre performance this season. Hoping for a MC to drive that 6/6 % down quite a bit

  • Jameson12

I am going to keep the path of just going with my gut and not doing any research or tinkering with any lineups because of weather. It has done me well over the past few tournaments.

They did not play this course

The Players is on the Stadium Course

The Web Tour event was on the Valley Course – there are multiple courses at TPC Sawgrass.

  • cjstout21

really like Rory for this course, but hasn’t played much this year so stat sample size is small. Without knowing prices, Spieth may be the top guy I’m all in on. Really going to take approach stats into weight this week.

I have my personal bias against him (for better or for worse) but everytime I see his picture I get a little heated and think “stay away” because he has the ability to ruin weekends. It’s too late for my bias on him to change. Not that it matters because I am all but toast with our h2hs in the league but I will still be avoiding him.

A new baby seems to give guys a slight boost for that first tourney or two after. Does an extravagant wedding do the same?

2 courses at TPC sawgrass, I was under the impression that the web.com tour played the other one. not the stadium course. But I would wait on confirmation because I am not positive.

edit should read first type later, BIF got it

FanDuels golf tournaments are alright but compared to DK.. boring. Not complaining but I hope they find a way to make their contests a little more exciting. Either bigger money GPPs or just (super) satellites to the Monster or even Driver.. I’m glad they’re in the golf DFS game but Im not sure if I should just put all my bankroll on DK. Do they have a world golf championship like DK?

  • timusbr

LMAO, I am going to play 1 team that will not use anyone that was picked by someone here.

I just glanced at last years thread and it started out pretty normal with people saying made every cut, guy is on form…… I looked at the finish last year, almost all of the players talked about were MC.

    Cmon people bring it in.
    ZJ first off the list.
