something please help me. I just keep experimenting with LU’s. FOMO on the top 4 salaries had me make 20 LU’s using them. Then I came upon a relatively easy template for making a 20 LU spread. I think I can use this in the future.

    pos 1 – top 4 salaries. ( copied/paste 5 times )
pos 2 – pick 5 low salary scrubs. (each is paired with group 1 player spread)
    pos 3 – 100% guy less than 8300 but greater than 7000
pos 4 – 4 golfers in tier 2 pricing (put them in this order per each group of 4)
    1-2-3-4
    2-3-4-1
    3-4-1-2
    4-1-2-3
    1-2-3-4
pos 5 – 4 golfers in salary range of 6800 – 7500 (put them in this order per each group of 4)
    1-4-2-3
    2-3-1-4
    3-2-4-1
    4-1-3-2
    1-4-2-3

pos 6 – fill in the blank. you should have between mid 7K’s to 9K remaining

except for LU’s 17-20, you will have no player combination duplicates, you still have a tight player pool. hope this was understandable, I am not a mathlete, but I like patterns and an ability to let chance do its job, instead of getting brain cramps.

I’ve played about 5 or 6 snake drafts and haven’t won a penny. Signed up for one last night and forgot about it. Team auto-Drafted. This will be the one winner…guaranteed.

Love Billy Horse in a bounce back spot here but not necessarily to win. I’ll go even deeper into the pool to pronounce Russell Knox as the 2021 Players champion.

Best of luck to everyone for the next 4 days. Relax and enjoy

I don’t think you should determine going 100% on someone because they fall into a specific range of salary. I would go 100% on a golfer you thought was the most underpriced who you believe has solid win equity, regardless of their salary

yes your right….but LMAO, I dont expect you would put someone in your LU’s 100% if you dont like them.

the salaries are obviously flexible and sticking by it ensures a good size salary position to pick at the end.

Tim – If you want to get Excel nerdy, one option is to play around with the RANDOM function in Excel (let’s you choose what number range you want the randoms to choose between). So, off to the side somewhere, make a little table that lists the golfers you just mentioned and number them (like 1-4 for top, 5-10 for next, whatever you want). Put the random function in 6 cells in a column (setting the random ranges of each to hit one of those guys in your list). Next to that column, create an XLOOKUP (or VLOOKUP if old version of Excel), that looks up the random number that pops up in your list of golfers referenced. Everytime you hit F9, those randoms will refresh and give you a new 6 golfers based on the ranges you set. You’ll also need another column next to each golfer to lookup salary so you can sum that and make sure you stay under $50k. So, there you basically have a randomizer to keep hitting F9 til you get 20 lineups you like.

I made something similar for the Dell Technologies tournament with the brackets that I’ve shared in this forum the past couple years, so you might be able to find that copy as a reference on how to set some of that up.

To take it a step further, you can use the Solver tool in Excel (might need to turn on in the Options -> Add-ins). In this case you’d setup constraints like your total salary in that sum cell needs be equal to or less than $50k, the six cells can’t be duped, set the range constraints similar to the random ranges above, etc. Kind of hard to explain without demoing in Excel, but anyhow…..just a couple ideas.

I just opened up my NBC Sports gold schedule and got super excited for my Thursday morning. I don’t even know how I’ll keep track of which one to watch. I guess this was also the case with the Masters or whatever tournament that was with every live shot. Gets hard to keep up with, but I will be up bright and early tomorrow.

The problem with soft pricing like this is that you absolutely love your lineups on wed night. Then on Friday you’re scratching your head wondering how In the world you went wrong.

I am playing some, but not loving him as much after reflection/research as I did when I first looked at pricing and was only thinking in terms of value and gut.

Ok finally done with my LU’s.

Hoping a lot of them are “better than most”

I saw this and the first thing I thought about was double berger. I dont know if thats a good sign or not. I got a few.

Werenski projected a little over 2% as of last night (no movement from Monday). Putnam a little over double that and there was a bit of movement from Monday into Tuesday.

    Thanks for the update

I pray at the alter of the Metal Church and more often then not my Sunday services or Saturday service is attended at one of many open air Cathedrals of Golf…Devote…And, still I am a terrible golfer ? However I can usually play a whole round with one new golf ball that I retire after each game.

Who do people think is going to win this entire thing? Don’t watch much golf but curious if there’s a consensus

I would say one of the players will win but that did not happen last year !

You may know that I play a random LU, usually only one…the LU you see in the happy meal, The numbers are lotto picks off of a fortune cookie. 4, 15, 16, 37, 47 and…can’t show full LUs. This week I am playing 2 more LUs not random. However, I am a little conflicted because of Brooks WD at the number 5 spot. Do I take him out a thus shift the numbers of all the players below? I did not as I made the LU before we new he was out ?

Thinking of using dice. One for the first pick then 2 or 3 and on and on until I get a random LU that fits the budget. Any thoughts?
