Sleazy, for sake of discussion, does his win change your exposure? Curious how many others see a win, and dial back if at all… the thought process being that said player has ‘peaked,’ or also the slim odds of back-to-back tour winning. Not that he needs a win to return a profitable score.

Looks like the tournament has announced that left of the lake will be an internal OB.

According to one comment there was an internal OB in place for API. Apparently Homeless Hubbard had the idea of hitting the #3 fairway from the #6 tee.

I must have missed that last week

Are they still playing Hockey up there ?

NHL ? yes but no fans and an all-Canadian teams division as travel within Canada permitted but not cross-border to/from US.

We traded for a guy from a US based team and he had to quarantine for 14 days at home before he could even practice/skate with the team.

Things are getting better here on Covid front but vaccine rollout is real slow as is the execution of the immunization plan so we are probably looking at border staying closed until Oct-Dec of this year.

I generally like to fade after a win. Not so much because they’ve “peaked” but because after celebrating a win and all the fanfare/media obligations/etc. after that leads to a much different approach/schedule/plan for the upcoming week had golfer x finished 39th instead of 1st. But here he’s the 6th highest priced golfer at 9,700 and 1,500 cheaper than DJ up top. Helps that Bryson has won before plenty of times and supposedly celebrated with a glass of Chocolate Milk. Someone like Lowry I’d imagine celebrates with a handle of whiskey.

I have a core of 5 lineups and he’ll be in one. I’m conformable with Bryson at 20% max

I typically don’t play a “first-time” winner in his next event especially if it is the following week as that win is life changing and those couple days between events is a whirlwind.

The more often a player wins (aside from a Major as those come with added press and promotional things) the more comfortable they are playing 3-4 days later.

I would have no qualms about playing Bryson here if you are solely referring to “post win syndrome” – I doubt I’ll have any Bryson as I don’t love the fit, this isn’t a course than can be over powered other than a couple holes and I don’t recall him being someone who strings together B2B good weeks too often – even looking at his 8 events so far in the 2020-21 season his week to week finishes have been a bit random and after his last win, he placed 8th which would just barely be good enough to pay off his salary.

I’m all for fading a winner when coming into some “jabroni” tournament. Not concerned with a winner heading into one of the “five” majors.

Speaking of which…is this the week English gets over his hangover???

Good lord. I plugged Hideki and Si Woo into my lineup today. Guess who the two biggest jumps in projected ownership were (from yesterday to today).

    Deki jumped 4%. That’s a huge jump.

Do you think people are chasing the -9?

I am on Matsuyama as well but looking at his past performance at the Players he is generally on fire SG APP and when he does well he enters the Players in ridiculous SG APP form and right now he isn’t quite at that level. Now he gained APP at WGC and API but it was 2 and 4 strokes respectively and not the 7,8,9 from three, four, five years ago. He really built towards this event in the past with ridiculous iron play and I am not sure that is the case this year. Deki lost at Genesis, Farmers, TOC and was even at WMPO but maybe he is beginning to trend upward?

I know I was. Freaking unfinished business!!!

He played very well in 19 as well. That’s your “March” sample. If he’s trending towards being popular I will fade.

My original lineup had DJ in it and he had a significant drop in proj. ownership (as did Finau). Fitz was the biggest drop,

Literally had to hose down Ma on Sunday with cold water. “Beef stick” Bryson is her favorite golfer.

She was walking around Sunday night smoking a cigar and wearing a Kango cap (and nothing else)

The image is still burnt into my head.

God help me if he wins b2b

That just seems crazy to me. But Canucks have always had a mind of their own for better or worse.

Out of curiosity is anyone taking weather into account Thurs/Fri morning when figuring out LUs?

Right now local CBS station said during 6PM news 46 Thurs and 52 Fri first thing in the morning gradually topping out in the mid 70’s during the afternoon. Sat and Sunday 80’s during the afternoon.

The biggest problem with the chilly mornings is the condensation on the grass until 9 maybe even 10 AM. It bothers me when I play, but I’m not sure about these guys.
