Already 20mph wind in Honolulu and it’s only going to get worse.

Sucks that we have to wait until 7:00 ET for it to come on TV. The ST is going to be way off too, I just know it.

Just noticed out of my 12 golfers, my winners pick (Im) is my only non American. Don’t know if that good or bad, just thought it was interesting. Ok maybe not.

    Good Luck Everyone!

    Happy New Year to all!

I am trying to play more entries this season. Usually only shoot 1 or / lineups out there. Playing 5 this week, with the hopes of getting up to 20 in the next week or two.

I have 17 golfers in my pool. Does this sound like a good amount? Too high? Too low?

Any comments would be greatly appreciated!

Good luck to all this week.

besides smylie, are there any lowball staples I should know about?

  • golgi

I think 17 on 5 might be a little high, but it depends.

I did 20 lineups with 32 golfers this week. Last week I did 20 lineups with 21 golfers. Depends on many factors. The pros around here should be able to break down the algorithm for you.

Happy golf everyone! The Sony always seems like the official start of PGA DFS season for me. Should be a fun tournament in some crazy Hawaii weather. Short course coupled with the insane wind makes it seem like anybody’s ballgame this week.

    Winner: Ancer
    Fade: Webb
    Sleeper: Percy

You’ll have to ask smallandflaccid. He’s the expert. I forget his favorite one to mention though! I’m sure he’ll chime in.

    Winner: Conners
    Fade: JT
    Sleeper: Dahmen

On a separate note, has anybody tried playing monkey knife fight? I started with a little NFL/NBA the past few weeks and have done surprisingly well. I put down a number of golf bets today because everybody’s O/Us were set at 16.5 pars, 5.5 birdies or 66.5 total strokes. Seems like all those will be hard to match today so I pretty much took the worse side of all of them. Under 16.5 pars in 35 MPH winds…I’ll take it!

REED and KUCHAR only projected to be around 10% owned. Both check most boxes. If you can hold your noses, may be good pivots.

The immortal Robert Gamez isn’t in the field unfortunately. A damn shame.

James Hahn, maybe? I have him in my round 1 showdown. Can’t miss the cut, right?

12% on Conners. About 6% lower than I was expecting. Pretty surprised

  • eruthruff

    Winner: Simpson
    Fade: Kuchar
Sleeper: Todd (bounce back with better course fit?), Fabian Gomez

    I also like Sungjae here

26.2% for JT even at 12,000 Wow that’s a statement

New to pga. How many players do you need to make the cut for cash games? How many to place In a GPP?

All depends on the tournament. But 6 of 6 for any real cash in a good typically. Don’t play cash so I’m not sure on that.

    Leishman under 10%

  • ifthethunder

I put Brandt Snedeker in my Happy Meal lineup thanks to peer pressure. And he’s my least-owned gopher at 11%! My most-owned gopher is Ryan Palmer at 21%. This is very weird. Anyways, if Sneds doesn’t make the cut, I’M GOING TO VERY DISAPPOINTED IN YOU PEOPLE!!!
