And I may. Been profitable on FD. I’m in a weird position where COVID has given me more disposable income than I’ve ever had before.

  • mitchsnyderdfw

    OK, I’m locked.

SE for me this week, keeping powder dry for NFL. Mostly just so I can blow it all.

    Winner: Billy Ho
    Fade: DJ
Sleeper: Are there really any sleepers with 30 players? I’ll say Hatton

  • titanhawks

Hatton is my only 100% all-in everywhere guy

His salary just fit in no matter where else I started my builds top or bottom for the last guy

BTW; my EURO LU jumped a bunch with all the carnage after my Crocker WD; heading for the cash line with three to go :)

  • JH822547

    Winner: JT
    Fade: Rahm and DJ
    Sleeper: Kevin Na

    How?

Mortgage industry. Income literally 3 or 4x what I’m typically used to. That combined with not going out to as many bars/restaurants = ability to go big

Same here. Wife is a nurse and actually picked up per diem work at her old hospital, just in case there were ever layoffs after the surge at her main job, and also because there was nothing to do socially and we were all stuck in the house, plus she wanted to help out, as we got hit hard here in Boston for a while. Thankfully, I’ve been able to keep my job full-time (half in the office/half remotely). But, yeah, the main thing has been not going out so much and spending money! Not going to 2-3 Bruins games/week, deferred my Pats season tix for the season, etc. And student loans being deferred through December (at least) has been helpful!

I made my usual three LU’s yesterday but then had to make a fourth since I had no Tony or Billy Ho and like it so much that I put it in the Dogleg for the crowns

My first month ever in Platinum so going to try to keep that going

Also jumped up to the 3-max Flop Shot from the Hybrid since no PME this week

I made Diamond for the first time. That can’t be good.

6 guys? Which one of the guys at -4 is he giving a shot (while excluding all the rest)?

BTW…I’m not writing off a Xander or Rory (both at -3). Rory shot 12 under last year. I don’t think 15 under is necessarily dead.

actually he shot 13 under last year and won by 4 shots so he is still def capable

BHD is good people. He has a tough jerb.
    ~

I had a tough jerb once. Regerted that I had accepted it. But we went and played golf anytime we could and my handicap lowered by 4 strokes. Crapshoot this week.
Faded all the high priced guys, played 5 that had been here before and took a chance on a newbie at $5,200 to round it out and leave $600 on the table. Nobody knows what it will turn out like until the 19th hole on Monday (yep, Monday this week). GL all.

Do the crowns you get in missions and achievements count towards your monthly status?

Yes, and you can be strategic about it. I got Diamond thanks to some Ironman thing (bball, maybe?).

Anyways, I sat on all my achievements subsequent to that in August and claimed them on September 1. So now I’m over 9,300 towards Platinum for October.

P.S. Except for missions. You can’t start a new mission until you claim your crowns for the one you were on. So you can’t really sit on those.

I almost did two weeks ago when I drunk-entered the $25 contest three times when I thought my LU’s couldn’t lose

Scared the shit out of me when I check e-mail the next morning to see the deposit confirnation

Then won $300 on two $5 Caddie entries last week so me and the Gambling Gods are all good now (for now)

Exactly. I’ve been banking so much more lately that I could legit max enter some tournaments and it wouldnt be a huge deal overall. Smart? No. But it’s what I have “extra” due to the circumstances

You can definitely start new ones every 24 hours even if the previous days isn’t complete. I often have 4 become able to be claimed on Thursday PGA lock. I thought you could also sit on claim-able ones for a bit, though not as long as Achievements. If you primarily do the App and you aren’t acquainted with the “More” or “Learn More” tab in upper right area of Missions, acquaint yourself.

    Degenerate gamblers LOLOLOLOL

I haven’t come close to diamond status..BUT then again golf has been pretty much all I have played the past two seasons. I pretty much faded football DFS completely now that we have sports betting in RI.
