Excuse my ignorance, but why do you have to have the winner of the Tour Championship??
What if you have the 2nd tru 7th place finishers?

Your not ignorant at all..I am under the assumption with all the duped lineups because of a 30 man field finish points are going to be a factor..however I could be wrong.

    Winner: JT over DJ
Fade: Nobody but least amount of Cantlay, Cink, and Reed
    Sleeper: EVR & Mats

Hoping to close this season on a positive note! Wish there was a way to do Ryder Cup…

30 person field. A round will be over in a blink.

Good Thursday Morning & YAY GOLF

Lotto time y’all. How many tickets did you buy?

Rahm, Rory & JT for the win, give me a combo of two of those (three would be nice) up top and I have it covered.

100% FADE Cantlay, sorry not sorry, rode the hot streak, but not paying that salary.

My thinking was the only way to separate yourself from the field, is to limit your player pool. I went with 12. C’mon Lotto!

Thanks Tim for the HM fun, tip of the hat for running it all this time.

Good Luck Y’all, we will need it.

I posted about it earlier in the thread. Last year, most large GPP winning lineups didn’t have DJ. The year before, they all had Rory. So, it depends. If the most expensive guy wins, you don’t need him. Otherwise, you do.

    Winner – Tony
    Fade – Cantlay
    Sleeper – EVR

  • Mccurds13

    Winner: Rahm
    Fade: Cantlay
Sleeper: He’s not really a sleeper, but don’t remember him being brought up and it’s a small field, so Xander. EVR also for a proper one

  • cnages24

    Winner: Finau
    Fade: Cantlay
    Sleeper: Scheffler and IM

Big moves by Xander and my sleepers

    LMAO

another late start, cant help but looking at some contests that might seem worthwhile to pile on with my money LU.

I dont know if late registration will kill these but I got my eye on 4
$8 charity one is rake fee but 9K entries, as of now…..
$8 Mulligan (3 ent) is 500 short 1680/2205 (essentially rake free now)
and the 2 $9 satties for the $555 are 32 and 39 of 72 entries each

I see they have contests for the Solheim Cup so they should also have Ryder Cup contests, which is exciting.

Too much time to tink… ended up taking someone out of my lineup who I have had all week.. oops.

    Expectations are low anyway!

  • Dnorma2

In the showdown today I’m guessing you would avoid cantlay since his game possible could be more conservative than say chasers who need to make up strokes

I have a showdown lineup of

    Rahm
    Mcllroy
    Smith
    Burns
    Niemann
    Horschel

    I guess that makes sense

Reminder that players get assigned a starting score at this event based on where they are in the FEC standings coming into the event. Starting leaderboard will look like so:

    Cantlay -10
    Finau -8
    Bryson -7
    Rahm -6
    Cam Smith -5
Thomas, English, Ancer, Spieth and Burns -4
Morikawa, Sungjae, Hovland, Louis and DJ -3
Rory, Xander, Kokrak, Na and Koepka -2
Conners, Hideki, Cink, Niemann and Scheffler -1
Berger, EVR, Sergio, Horschel and Reed E

I don’t like this structure but I’ll play 🤣 significantly less than normal

Name a meal or a food you like so much you could probably eat it every day.

New England style steamed clams for me.

Don’t play much fantasy golf, but lucked into a ticket to the No Laying Up round 2 contest. EVR or Horschel as a cheap play to round out the lineup?

Yeah these late starts suck. I keep changing 3 guys around trying to decide how much salary I want to punt. Currently leaving $500 on the table and hoping that’s enough to make my lineup unique

I had a feeling on Horschel last week and he badly disappointed me. EVR has been on a tear lately!

EVR is probably going to be more popular and is the better play IMO. Horschel has bad form and not great course history but is probably going to be low owned. Feels like most folks are using EVR as their punt
