Rumor was it was going to replace the Houston Open before the Astros came in to sponsor it

Well, who is going to fall for the Spieth bait (re: trap)??

Not me. Don’t like him and he’s not playing well.

Was about to type out this exact response…can’t stand Spieth love when he’s struggling and I don’t feel like I have to fit him in some lineups

I will be heavy Spieth. I think his putting is improving. Hopefully everyone else stays away from “trap” and he goes low owned

It looks like Smylie is in the field, get ur PIG lineups ready!

On the other hand, I like Bryson, Webb, JT, and Hadwin for this event and will have shares of each for sure.

Smylie actually made the cut here last year. Might be worth a dart outside of the PIG this week

Jason Day no top 10s here surpises me. Feel like he could do work on a course like this.

He missed the cut last year.

Mental state a concern from last week or do they come out ready to go low on a properly set up course?

    Why Hadwin?

Didn’t seem to have much effect on guys last year.

  • hautalak

And we’re back. For a change it’d be nice if my guys over 25% would make the cut for a change. I am usually at about 2/3 to 3/4 but there’s always somebody and lately it’s been the high priced guys. Maybe I do need the mini max for all the pivots. We’ll see but I have to start winning more in anything haha

you make the rules, but be willing to accept small H2H’s from the general forum league population.

I would consider mental fatigue for Koepka, Berger and Reed but not really anyone else. Doubt Koepka plays this week.

I think he will play…said he was excited to get back out there this week in an ESPN interview I saw this morning

Anyone have any insight on how the pros are determining their exposure %s?

Looking at the Fantasy Labs dashboard, it seems they always have weird numbers like 22.7% or 35.3%. Usually when I run mine, I just do like 40%, 30% etc. Why are there’s so much different?

    Interesting…thanks!

  • nicholasmarsh

The only thing I did right last weeks was Brooks Koepka as my one-and-done and of course, that has ZERO monetary gain. I did get a Reed T10 and Aphibarnrat as top Asian as a bet though… The majors kill me in terms of DFS. On to this week!

  • BellRoto

Finding myself preferring Reed and Casey by a large margin among the other top end guys. Can’t see myself playing Spieth, Brooks, Rory, or Day. Only one I might take a shot on because of potential low ownership and “forgotten man” factor is JT.
