I will do the PGA, I seem to do better at the majors lol….how many do we have to do? Or is their not a limit.

technicly no limit but if you put a reasonable cap on it…no problem.
This isnt made for the $1 player to take the challenge, we got a lot of people and most will play you for $1. the only thing I can tell you is what I plan on doing

    4 – $5 H2H’s
    8 – $2 H2H’s
24 – $1 H2H’s for a total of $60, If I am not completely busted before my event and people fill all, I will probably add only $1’s

edit the hope is the worst you will play is mid level so you shouldn’t get skunked. My problem is I come in first or last and l tend to last more often. the firsts hopefully make up for it.

I like patrick reed the most out of the top priced guys. I think mostly due to pricing, but his game has been on point this season for sure

EDIT: I define Top priced as 10k+

One person ruins it for everyone. I deal with people all day and some just like to complain about everything. Feel sorry for such people.

Damn, I had to into DK to see if he was even playing. Totally glossed over him this week. Might have to do some tinkering.

    Looks like 2% Ownership Projected

Knox is not good at putting this season, not sure if that helps.

I’m on Knox if that helps anyone.

I’d argue this is a golf community and part of what makes me frequent this forum as much as I do is the interactions the active forum members have. I’d be shocked if this person who PM’d you is an active contributor here.

Come and take BIF’s Gems, but denies him an opportunity to weigh in on something that is heavily on his mind. I can see both sides as does our distinguished head moderator. Dont argue with him, when he just chimes in, no deletions no chastisement, just a… guys I got a complaint. I think reading between the lines says a lot about his post.

Thanks for the ownership info. Very tempting pick

I feel like I am going to have way more JT and Koepka than the field. What’s the thought process in those that are fading them?

Even in Noto’s video this week he talks about how JT is the top overall golfer in his model and he might not play him in either of his 2 main lineups. I can see a cash fade I suppose with all the 9k guys being solid plays.

But in GPPs… the two most talented guys in the field should have higher ownership.

Poor choice of words on my part i wasn’t trying to argue (despite using argue in my post).. I guess I should have used the word disagree. I totally get that being a mod is a tough spot because you have to walk a fine line.

Golf related: My deeeeeeeeeep punt play of the week is Robert Garrigus.

It is the problem of a lack of tempting value in the 6K to low 7s range that makes it hard to play JT. Most weeks there are a bunch of guys in that range that people like, but it feels like this week most of the intriguing plays are from 7500-9K which means you’re gonna see a lot more balanced lineups and far fewer with one of the top salaries. It makes it a strong contrarian play and probably a good one to take down some GPPs but that’s the reason I can see

Please dont say this…. I loved your post. I thought it was spot on as to my feelings.

I dont know but I highly suspect we on the golf thread get a lot more leeway than other threads. look at the responses to yours. All frequent users who agreed. This does not go unnoticed by RG.

You can make a raw talent argument for Rory and Jordan as the two most talented golfers. They are both playing so terrible right now though. At least, Rory in the U.S. is. He’s been great on Euro Tour this year and he does have a PGA win from a few months ago. But last 2 months? No thanks.

Just screwin’ with ya (I’m assuming that is still allowed on the forum 😂).

Anyways, yah I do think that both Rory and Jordan have next level talent and their A+ game would beat anyone in the field (JT and Brooks included) but agree on the recent form argument and it’s tough to pay up for those two when I stack 4 guys around 9K instead of rolling the dice with one of them.

Haha that’s definitely how I took it… things are getting waaaaaaay too serious here.

I dont know much yet, but occasionally looking at salaries as I look at history, and I think a lot can be said for this statement. I am not thrilled with the lower salaries… not thrilled with the middle salaries … would like to use a bunch of top salaries but that is just not possible.
