He has tour status because of aTop 50 career money exemption. He is 146th is the FedEx Cup standings right now so is well within range to make the 125 and the Northern Trust if he did actually find his game at the Palmetto. He had been pretty bad before that.

Thanks, Wander. I was confused whether it was career money (which I originally heard/thought) or medical (because I saw something indicating he was on medical extension, which I thought was wrong).

I might throw him in one for the heck of it this week. It’s probably the absolute wrong week to do this, but I’ve found a lot of (probably false/misleading) comfort in builds with DJ/Bryson and four scrubbers.

      2021 Blogger of the Month

Put a pretty basic blog up for this week. Nothing too excited and possibly redundant but I was close on a few last week, so figured I’d try again. I’ll admit the “stats” I use this week might be a little less conventional and maybe not all that helpful at all. I do think course history is important again. Anyway here it is https://rotogrinders.com/blog-posts/the-travelers-nhl-tonight-3647288

    Bold predictions :
    1) 5 of the 9 golfers @9k + will miss the cut.
    2) The optimal lineup will leave 1k + on the table
    3) There will be a playoff of at least 3 golfers on Sunday to finish it.

Winner : Ancer. Sets up perfectly. Short course with receptive greens where he can go flag hunting all day.

Sleeper : Stallings. During the month of May half of his 16 rounds were sub 70. You’ll need that kind of scoring here and he’s a New Englander.
Beware the real Scott Stallings is $6800. There is an impostor posing as S. Stallings Jr. at a cheaper price. You get what you pay for.

Winner: Fatrick – Big Tony will be my highest owned but of course he ain’t going to win.

What was the best prize structure again? Both the $8 and the $20 “Milly without a WCOG entry” seem very poor?

Both of those contests are fine other than paying 25% to 1st

The only contests to include the Tournament of Champions ticket to the winner are Million Dollar 1st prize ones NOT total purse $1M – you are mixing 1st prize with total purse and you are also mixing the Tournament of Champions (Million Dollar Winning Champions that is) with the FGWC Fantasy Golf World Championship

  • lfn1992

Wondering if I should roster Koepka. No, not that Koepka.

Indeed I am. I’ve been burning money trying to win one of those FGWC tickets – ya gotta dream, right? So I’ve been looking for those contests.

I go after those tickets every weekend, especially after my close call at the PGA Had I entered my $44 FGWC qualifier lineup into the $125 (I played si woo over louie in the $125), I’d have won the stinkin thing. Unfortunately my lineup was good for 6th in the $44.

Probably a losing battle, but I can’t get over it. They pay the top 15 or so places, so I’ve still cashed on them.

I keep winning $44 FGWC qualifier tickets off $4 satty entries but then crash and burn in the qualifier when I use the ticket because I always pick the wrong lineup to play in it. I know for sure I would have won one and possibly two spots if I could just ever pick the right LU to put in it.

Anybody know if BVP been playing on medical extension or some sort of career winnings exemption?

I figure that finish at the Palmetto has to give him a fighting chance at a 2022 Card, which would be pretty impressive. Always pull for the Indiana boys.

Heard the guys on PGA Tour radio talking about him and said he had a shoulder (and maybe bicep) injury that took well over 2+ years to diagnose properly, get treatment and recover fully from. Some of his best possible years were lost because of this.

So what are people seeing for Top 10 owned this week ? I can see about 18-20 guys being popular (meaning12+% owned).

I know very few play Yahoo or care, but how can they get away with STILL not paying out US Open winnings? I’m due some interest or free entries at this point. I think they are somehow associated with BetMGM, which took a bath on the Rahm win, but I certainly don’t know that to have any relation to this issue. Either way, I’m just so pleased that I am supplying a $1.33 Billion company with an interest-free loan.

Ryan Armour for all the $ this week…

This happened the previous week on Yahoo as well, so I don’t think it’s related to Rahm winning really. Certainly is frustrating though.

There are so many viable options down into the mid 6’s that I think it will be fairly spread out.

However based on reliable info, I see Cantlay, Casey, Ancer, and Harman up top and Keegan, Flower, KSTD, and Guido the pizza guy down below as being well above average. The one guy up top that nobody will have is the Wolffman.

  • BIF

Drew “Sleazy” Stoltz on PGA Tour Radio said he was at Rahm’s celebration party yesterday that Rahm’s wife put together at The Silverleaf Club in Scottsdale.

He said Rahm kept filling the trophy with Tequila and every drank from it all night. Stolttz then said he called Rahm this morning to see if he was hurting and Rahm said he should be but was still too excited from the win for the tequila to affect him.

I like your bold hunch and I am betting the DK prop for 3 men in playoff. 20 at +1600 = 340 what the hay.

Interesting, didn’t think Stanley would be that high.

me too, every week, If I can only pick the right LU to put into a contest.

Think Streelman being priced above Finau is hilarious but I’m playing neither.
    Winner: Niemann over English
Fade: Everyone 10k plus except Cantlay
    Sleeper: Gooch

  • kps3205s

Long losing streak so let’s try something new with this single LU.

    Winner: Si Woo Kim
    Fade: Everyone above Ancer
Sleeper: Would Doc Redman be considered a sleeper? If not Lebioda

  • timusbr

    Winner: DJ
Fade: the side show couple (Koepka/Decham)
    sleepers: KSDT, Rodgers

I like my Manly Man LU except I had to go to HerMAN @ 6100 (I bet its doable without Herman on FD)

  • Vanderob14

    Winner: Cantplay
    Fade: Brooks, Reed
    Sleeper: Armour, Cink
