Interesting facts about this course and the last time this tourney was played (the 2019 event).

Innisbrook’s Copperhead course had the lowest GIR percentage of any course on Tour in the 2018-19 season with only 54% of greens hit – this is compared to a Tour average of 66%

Additionally, the Valspar tourney had the 2nd lowest Birdies/round average on Tour in 2018-19

With all these positive Covid tests from guys who played in New Orleans, I’m considering going with a full Zurich-fade as there has to be some risk of others popping a positive when they test next on Friday or Saturday – I’m sure the Tour is being thorough and making players test this week again (despite their memo about not testing vaccinated players) after the 4 positive tests from guys who played at.Zurich.

It would suck to have a guy who makes the cut but then pops a positive on Saturday and has to WD.

  • Vanderob14

I assume a lot of these guys that tested positive got it in the clubhouse or something.

I assumed they got it while out tasting New Orleans Or Hilton Head

How have these guys not be vaccinated yet? Geez. Go to a CVS or something.

If they are vaccinated does the PGA Tour stop testing them? If that is the case I 100% agree they should be jumping on board to get that done ASAP. However if your still forced to be tested even after the vaccine you can still get a positive Covid test so the vaccine won’t stop being forced to WD.

  • Lamms30

From what I have heard on PGA radio…if you are 2 weeks past 2nd vaccination (2-dose) you won’t be tested anymore.

Then I 100% agree that these guys should be fighting to get the vaccine so they can not be forced to WD and potenailly miss an upcoming major.

    Hatton out as well

Hopefully the Tour doesn’t shut it down again.

On the bright side, Hatton’s replacement is Barnrat (I think) so we get featured coverage of Kiradech.

Can’t wait to see him blowing clouds of vape all over the feed!

A lot of guys are just below that and could shift around. Griffin, Tringale, Grillo, Glover, Ghim, etc.

Down to Hulk Hoge or Keith Mitchell. Any thoughts?

I’m hoping Mitchell has found a little something, so rolling with him in a few. Hoge has only played here 3 times, but they have been consistently bad, so that’s enough to keep me away from him. My logic could play-out completely backwards, of course, so might want to do the opposite.

I certainly don’t mind him, but I think he just doesn’t typically garner a lot of ownership, so they might be weighing that in. He’s not as much of an auto-click as others are.

i stressed on adding him or not.
I went with not….last week was great for him. A 2nd place and a bag of money. Oosty seems to be a bit like B Koepke in that he rises in majors and has mediocrity in many other events. He has a WD history for a bad back. I am interested in whether he comes out of the gate with a purpose or not.

They don’t like the fact he has 196 career starts on the PGA Tour and not a single win to his name (unless you count the 2010 Brit Open). His 75% made cut rate is solid though.

I know this will be an unpopular take but I’m guessing some of them don’t think the Fauci Ouchie is necessary, especially since our commander in chief still wears two masks while on zoom calls after getting his. Some people choose not to do things even if “everyone else is doing it”. What a novel concept eh

However, I will concede that if potentially millions of dollars are on the line, they should just go ahead and get it.

    Ryan Palmer is too cheap

I don’t know why you put a gif of Patrick Reed in your post?

Speaking of whom: I didn’t have him in any, but that would just guarantee he wins. And if I put him in a bunch, it guarantees Reed misses the cut. So I have him in one of 20, hoping this is enough to appease the…
