is it tough to cap this sport

  • tmarohl

It was easier than NBA last year, but much harder, believe it or not, to find any decent injury info.
This is what I used last year. http://www.donbest.com/wnba/injuries/

Hi, yes, this is in the works. Thanks.

You have to be in the know. I keep a chat group of 50 people for the last 2 years and added in media, players family, superfans and fantasy nuts. Really the only way to get information. Things fly very quick and teams hold info very tight. If you get too big the info gets out there too much and people updating news don’t get too happy. It is certainly an inside sport but in a small group I have seen many many people win the GPP’s in 2 years of talking together. Find or make a similar group, it is the way to go.

You can draft now on dk now for anyone wondering. Pricing seems really soft for Dallas bigs sans cambage. liberty guards will be interesting if Boyd ends up missing the first game

took a surprising turn when you didn’t add the “for $9.99 a month you can join my group too”

    well done sir, well done

We haven’t really added anyone in a year. Same group will be in their 3rd year. Here is an example why WNBA news is different. Sue Bird has an injury. A news outlet covering WNBA writes and article and Sue gets mad about it on Twitter. News is held tight. The best way to win is to become a fan. Talk about the games.

Dk changed their format and removed one guard spot and one forward spot so it seems easier to make better lineups. will be interesting this year for sure.

Is RG offering any WNBA content this year?

  • leib0039

Well since we cant be in the super secret group with SalaryCapFantasy, anyone have injury notes we can share? Diggins O McCaughtry O and Boyd for NY? is what i see so far. And with Cambage being traded should be some open minutes for the bigs of DAL.

Achonwa seems too cheap on FD, Harrison will be the highest owned player of the slate if she starts at C for Dallas. Laney at 3.1k could be solid if she starts like she did in the preseason. I’ll prob have a lot of Kia Nurse, seems much improved. My problem is who do I wanna pay up for? Right now it’s looking like Hayes, Breland & Charles.

Good point, forgot Harrison was in the cambage trade, I think she’ll probably start. I don’t think I’m going too heavy on Charles, Indiana’s frontcourt was pretty solid defensively last year iirc. But breland and Hayes for sure

  • leib0039

Everyone appears too cheap on FD, seems like it will be whoever hits that one cheap option

  • salarycapfantasy

FD has a winning formula that works 80% of the time but it might not this slate as the salaries are not soft enough with the smaller slate and the lower amount of minutes per game the players on these teams have.

Dallas Wings injury report vs Atlanta Dream:
Tayler Hill – Knee – Probable
Skylar Diggins-Smith – Out. Recently had a baby.
Azura Stevens – Out – Concussion

  • salarycapfantasy

I would be careful on a Harrison or McGee-Stafford start. Some of these teams like to split time for bigs. At the price though for 30% of the game, it wouldn’t be too bad. Glory can be center as well.

last year I think there was 4 forward spots and Utility, seems like less roster spots than last year. still utility.

  • Petergunz82

Pricing seems super soft on DK…except for a couple players like Achonwa who is way more than on FD
