Front looks much more difficult than back. Holes 1-7 look tough and long.

back 9 looks easy, the front 7 look like dbls could be in some futures.
greens surrounded by bunkers and on slopes. Mistakes could get costly.

I also read if its soft………They could demolish this course.

Yeah I saw that to. Early forecast shows no rain at all this week in old westbury ny and winds 5-10 mph Thur thru sun.

This is the first week I played PIG, and I just realized I picked a guy who got an Ace (Flores) and was on fire in R4, and the best player in R3, Kokrak. Time to play my PIGs for weekend golf next week.

  • NoLimits0

Up this week but not by much. You can’t seem to win unless you have like the perfect lineup.

So by your logic, he’s going to mean revert?

    My winner is Haas
    Top 5 is Stenson
    Sleeper top 10 is Tway
Disappointing top 30 only is Simpson
Making the cut but only getting 50th is Schnieidrjans
Other sleeper top 20s are Sabatini, Castro, and Billy Hurley.

Missing the cut that will be kind of highly owned are Reavie, Grillo, and Bradley.

Best weekend golfers for the tournament will be Haas, Kisner who will struggle early becuase he’s tired, Tway, Sabatini, and Lucas Glover.

I missed on my winner. But I got some others right, especially the low tier plays Castro and Sabatini, the two best value plays this week.

Grillo MC, and Chez and Keegan played like they were like MC. Missed on Ollie and Webb but got the part where they make the cut right.

Wish I just said Stenson will win instead of Top 5. All in all not good not bad.

Hideki for the win next week.

Looks like a ton of edge to be gained next week.

Were do you believe the edge will be? 40-45 players will miss cut. What I am most excited about is top level salaries and ownership. Day playing better, Stenson wins, Mats playing well will only suppress ownership on DJ, Spieth, Rahm, Fowler. Don’t think Rory is playing but he not on official out list of Garcia, Sneds, Scott, Piercy and Bozelli so down to 120 at the start.

I think the edge will come from the fact that this course is new and no one has played it before, so you have to really research.

Huh, thought he said he was considering shutting it down, this will lead to low ownership.

My best week of golf was this week. Had a lot of Ollie and Webb mixed in with a lot of Glover, Na and some randoms like Flores and one with Spaun. See you guys in a few days for next week!

Lol c’mon man. 2 of your top 3 were mdf. You called webb and ollie for disappointing. It was a shit week. I had 50% stenson but just broke even as my other picks were shit too. On to next week we’ll get em.

I don’t see anything conclusive on Rory. He has said he will play again but it sounds like it might be the 3rd playoff event.

    Didn’t mean to quote that.

Only RG League thing I got into was the PIG and won it with a nice 1/6 (Damn Lahiri kept me from the elusive 0/6) – sorry to the Chris Stroud and Grayson Murray backers but they were my top 🐷 🐷

Yeah I knew I was taken a chance with Stroud. So I ended up having to take the hit with him.
I also did not like his bravado of confidence in last weeks interviews. He was playing great but he came off as having more control over his emotions than all the other players and that it would not affect him in the future. Anyone that has played sports knows that there are always ebb and flows with confidence. No one is immune to them. Maybe the greatest of players but I would still doubt that.

Yah he’s a weird dude for sure
They said he won the Mr. Positivity award in college

I didn’t like him most because it was his 8th week in a row of playing and the last 2 were very very stressful – winning in a playoff then playing in final group of a major – if this was a team sport and I betting against the spread, this was the equivalent of a look ahead Week/game and also a let down spot.

I think he was trying to say the right things like “I’m just going to play my game” and “what ever will happen, will happen” and “I can’t control what others do, I can only control what I do” but then it took a weird turn when he talked about the PGA trophy not being as important as some necklace his daughter made him….I don’t care what he says, a Major and $1+ M win which comes with another 500K+ in endorsements and all the other major invites and exemptions is WAY more important than some necklace your kid gives you !

Better than yours. What were your predictions? I had 60% Stenson, and 20% Sabatini and Castro so I’m up this week even having 50% Haas, my only MC/MDF above 10%.

If you read my post, I did not even say my predictions were good. I said not good not bad. So maybe you should learn to read before laughing at what I have to say.

No one on this forum had Stenson top 5 or as much Stenson as me. I even had 20% of the guy with a hole in one.

I do know some Daddies that would argue the point. Money is a relative thing and matters of the heart are another. I dont think a debate is necesary because…

I beg to differ a little.
    From my earlier post.

“I just got in and missed the whole day.
    Recap
WG Martin Flores 80% R34U70 ACE
    WG Rory Sabbatini 80% R34U70
    WG Richy Werenski 80% R34U70
    WG Ben Crane 60% ACE
    WG Henrick Stenson 10% R34U70 1st
I have Henrick Stenson 90% in the PGA $250K Best Ball”

I think a few guys mentioned it would be worth playing Stenson this week as it would be very Stenson-like to go off and win at less than historical ownership levels. I remember Walkoff being one of them.

As a new poster on here, I’d suggest adding your DK and/or FD usernames to your profile so your results can be tracked and displayed otherwise you’ll continue to get grief when sizing up your prognostications after the fact. Picking the winner or a top 5 guy means squat in DFS if you don’t have a good supporting cast/lineup. Many people on here can pretty regularly nail a top pick/winner and also nail a couple bums to fade, but the secret in DFS is to nail 6 or 8 golfers while avoiding a landline or two.

I nailed Sabattini and Na this week and had a little Stenson as well but way too much Ben An and Haas were enough to derail my good picks.
