This reminds me of the reason why I’ve never gotten into wine. I can’t stand having a discussion with someone who wants to teach me all of the rules of wine when all I’m trying to do is just enjoy of a little sip of the liquid in my glass.

One of my favorite things to do when traveling is to attend local brewery tours. They’ll bore me with an hour’s worth of beerspeak but the end reward of sampling all their styles for free is well worth it.

It looks like even pgabirdies and pgabogies has stopped tweeting over erroneous data.

Their tweeting again and now have both players names but still with scoring errors.

    No B/H, no cash.

Taylor/Laird LU was not the place to be.
    Unbelievable.

Cannot emphasize enough how bold a move it was for those that drafted Woody Austin/Rocco Mediate

Almost 5% in $15 and higher owned than a bunch of the teams I picked with 2 actual Tour players (like Pan/Zhang and Noren/Norlander)

This is admittedly biased, but I don’t mind the brewery discussions because I love beer and can relate more to people who drink beer or work at a brewery. So, maybe it’s the people that’s my problem. You can’t tell me the type of person who works in a brewery is similar to someone who works at a vineyard. However, I also don’t try to teach people about beer or laugh at someone who doesn’t know the difference between an IPA and a Porter. Wine people just bother me. It’s also an acquired taste and why would you force yourself to acquire a taste if you think it’s awful the first few times?

I took these hacks in 1/5 lineups. Pretty annoyed right now. They are horrible. Let’s hope they turn it around on their back 9.

Edit: they just birdied #7 so that’s a start

Both of whom I have! (Pan/Zhang and Noren/Norlander)

  • lfn1992

Zhang/Pan BOTH in water at 9, you utter morons

ST thankfully misread CT Pan’s tee shot – may salvage par

If we could go back in time and tell the Scottish to just call it “Best Score” instead of “Best Ball” then all of our problems would be solved. Well, at least the golf ones, not the wine ones.

    Maybe these guys can help!!

  • byo34

Hubba Hubbs and Cappelen 5 feet away from a streak! Let’s get it boys! Be my low owned saviors!

  • lfn1992

I have way too many teams at -1

I still have hope. (And that pairing in half my lineups.)

Both have experience here. And they finished 9th as a team in 2019. (Rubs lucky rabbit’s foot.)

LMAO, I just tell them that Boonsfarm wine is the best ive ever had and ask if they would like to talk about imported Beer instead.

  • lfn1992

Time for Team Norway to do something special on the Par 5 Hole 7

    Yep….there it is
    Thur/ Sat best score
    Fri/Sun alt shot

thats what you get listening to Scotts. I never can understand English when I get to the pubs anyway.

Amen, brother. I can do without the wine pomp. I can relate (a little) to the wine snob/connaisseur judginess, I suppose. I mean, if you are a Coors Light guy and you own it, I’m never going to scoff at that. But if you are parading around as Joe the pseudo-Connaisseur of craft beer guy with a cooler full of Shock Top, Lienenkugels, and Blue Moon and wanting to beer chat me up, then I’m probably going to privately beer snob judge you and not pretend to agree with you. That said, I certainly wouldn’t be lecturing you on why I think your tastes suck and mine are objectively and indisputably superior. (And by “you”, I mean this hypothetical Joe the pseudo-craft-connaisseur guy, not you specifically of course).

why do i keep drinking Tequila. The first shot of the night is kinda nasty but the 3rd is great. never found the worm tho.

Is the Laird team Ace legit?

  • ifthethunder

I see Taylor got the bird on 9 and Laird didn’t need to finish. So maybe that’s it. I guess all scoring is somewhat suspect, but the pair did birdie 7,8, and 9.

P.S. From where they were in the fairway on 10, I’d have sworn one of them would stick it close on 10. But no.

I know there aren’t a ton of Fan Duelers on here, but has it pooped out on anyone else? I was going to say they were doing their best Yahoo impression thus far, but Yahoo punted on the whole week so I guess that’d be a little unfair.

long-time bartender here, had this discussion more than once and i think beer and wine snobs got nothing on music snobs. No, I don’t care that you got in early on now-hip and formerly unknown indie band (insert name here.) I also do not care that you have been traveling to obscure locales to see a german industrial punk group that no one likes because ‘people just don’t get their genius.’.. the snobbery hierarchy is debatable, but just because you own a record player and enjoy vinyl does not mean everyone else are sheep and sold-out trash..
rant over. then i went golfing…
