According to the leaderboard either KH Lee or KSDT made an ace. Not holding my breath though

Play by Play says neither, but KSDT did birdie.

I am here for Team Norway’s new strategy to “birdie them all”

Birdie them all, and let Thor sort them out.

Hovland had other ideas, shanking the 6 ft putt for birdie

Scoring will low Thur and Sat with many 62-65 scores

The alternate shot scores won’t be too low – lowest ever shot here was 65 and the norm is 68-73

Though yes, 6/6 will be needed for a top finish with most teams being at least -12 and many -15 or better

Basically,if you do not go low today,it will be difficult to make cut tomorrow?

  • Supersharpie

So, do the Top 33 or Top 35 teams make the 36 hole cut?

There seems to be confusion about this as some DFS sites list it as Top 33, others as Top 35.

Tried to find something definitive on the event website itself, but no dice.

  • JimKronlund

Well was it an Ace or not? It moved 2 teams up to 36th on the Tree contest.

It’ll be tougher for sure but no guarantee that a team who shoots 62 today doesn’t shoot 74-75 tomorrow. Alternate shot is a different beast entirely and all it takes is a couple errant drives or water balls and the bogies/doubles begin to stack up. Besides only playing the one ball; sometimes a player may go 6-8 holes or 90+ minutes between hitting Drivers so the foul ball is always in play.

Look like 33 & ties to reflect the new Top 65&ties for a normal event.

Used to be 35&ties when it was Top 70&ties – this tourney wasn’t played last year so the last time it was in 2019, the old rules were still in play.

Plus, these AM golfers will face higher winds tomorrow than this afternoon golfers. This could cause even higher scores from errant shots

So am I wasting my time looking at the pgatour app leaderboard?

Think I have had 25 teams make an eagle or and Ace today (initially on DK) only to have it reversed as a scoring error – only legit one I’m still seeing is Bubba’s.

Heading out to play golf in a couple hours and will just check after around 7pm – maybe PGA Tour App and DK will have it figured out by then.

They are correcting it after a couple of minutes, deduct one shot from your team and you’re probably good.

They corrected Ace and both teams still 36th so I have no idea what to trust

    EDIT: K.H. Lee ACE!!

This scoring is pissing me off, no ACE

    LOL!

  • qatman

As someone mentioned earlier the only semi-accurate thing is the play by play. Even when the score shows eagle that is correctly showing ‘putt 3 – 8 feet, 2 feet left’ so you know it’s not an eagle.

    Nice another Ace Bradley/Steele :/

Wow, in the euro -1 is T81 atm

  • JH822547

    Pan/Zhang double bogey.

    Now that is not good.

  • timusbr

LOL, I am letting you guys look at the leaderboard and comment. I will follow you.
In the meantime I did a quick not totally accurate count of the tree contest and 464 entries are forum posters out of 7190 (pays 3945)
