I think just about every player on every LU should have the birdie streak. Yay PGA achievments.

Reminds me it’s time to put up another Nascar thread. Also reminds me of many of my last lineups in trucks and XFIN.

Need McDreamy to do some good things on the front 9

Basically,if you do not go low today,it will be difficult to make cut tomorrow?

I think there will be a lot more variance tomorrow/sunday as bad shots have consequences and are not covered by your teammate (Pan/Zhang excluded)

That’ll help the birdie maker, but it’s Mr. Clean/BOGF and not streaks that has its own achievement. Presuming these team BOGF count.

Everyone tilting over scoreboard trolls needs to check the Play by Play. Every ace troll has said Shot 2 in the hole and shown the tee shots x amount of feet from the hole. The birdie trolls also have been easy to sort out simply by looking at Play by Play.

I’m really struggling to understand where teams should be compared to the field. It feels like every team (minus those at E or
+1) are doing fine. But that can’t really be true when the cut is only 50%

33 (plus ties) of 80 teams will make the cut. You won’t know whom you need to be sweating until tomorrow afternoon.

That was funny. I’m not sure which is worse though, the Pan/Zing double or Hoagie/Roach posting a bogey on a par 5.

Atwal/Barnrat getting the BOFR out of the way early so they can birdie the rest of the holes without pressure

33rd will probably be -5 after today give or take 1 shot. If you think of it was 2 separate waves then its about 17th best of AM wave would be about 33rd overall at end of day

Definitely the Double double. I can’t find course stats but looks like all the Par 5s are relatively long

80 teams and the second half is starting now, You got it E and +1 are in trouble. -1 isnt much better. -3 seems to be the min you want to finish today but your sweatin the cut early. Where -5 and lower gives a fuzzy feeling but it aint over yet.

I was hoping that the bogey is a scoring mistake and they really had a hole-out eagle.

Cantlay figured out how to golf again?

  • jdubadubs

If we assume Burns makes all putts under 5 ft that he ended up not needing to hit, he would be -8 and T2 all by himself

  • qatman

My team is -11 through 18 holes combined. It can only go downhill from here.

I’m seeing guys picking up their balls before their playing partner has finished their hole. Shouldn’t they have to finish out their score no matter what? Not like a concession or anything. They need to at least get one ball in the hole before they know what their best team score is.

  • ifthethunder

I only put team KSDT – K.H. Lee in one lineup. Wow. Far more than I expected from them.

They are essentially conceding that whatever their partner scores is what they will take for the hole.

I’m getting some Norwegian wood out here.

I didnt plan it but my player pool of 22 is split 11 early and 11 late. More ownership late.
My worst early finished -2 with 2LU’s…..I will take that as a positive sign.
