I see you did the same thing I did in the contest Tim posted for Earth Day. Just run a train and hope it cashes.

    Keep it going!

    Same here. Choo choo!!!

4 in a row for Ghim/Suh with the latter doing the heavy lifting, keep it going lads

  • ifthethunder

Cameron Smith goes swimming on 17. But Leishman has two putts to make the problem disappear.

Edit: Actually it’s the other way around. Dang website had me confuzzled.

Ghim needs to thank Suh for keeping them in the game today.

I take it back. Ghim just birdied the final 2 holes.

    Thank you, Suh.

Couple of birdies from Ghim to redress the balance.

Aside from the scoring glitches a pretty enjoyable day, it’s less stressful when there is virtually no possibility of your selections making a double bogey or worse.

My results looked a lot better today with the phantom holes in one.

Have a nice Garnet Ventura Bradley Watson brewing in the tree contest. 26th 291 pts.
I think this Thursdays points feast is more important to do well than regular Thursdays.

Right now in the big DK Resurgence: 3.9% 6/6, 21.0% 5/6, 35.8% 4/6, 27.7% 3/6. Looking like likely low 6/6. That includes 37 teams (top 33 and ties)

Kisner/Brown is my worst team this afternoon. Of course Scott Brown is carrying Kisner.

Their -2 is almost DFL. Making my single bullet look ugly. My why am I playing Piercy/Bahtia pair is much better.

In 2019 there were 39 teams at -7 or better after round 1 and cut ended up at -8 (31st-39th at -8 so same for 33 or 35 player cut). On average rounds 1/3 best ball were about 6 shots better than rounds 2/4 Alternate shots. I don’t know anything about the weather but I would expect the cutline to be around -6.

Edit to add 2018: In 2018 51 teams were at -6 or better (19 way tie for 33rd) after round 1 and cutline would have been -6 at 33 players (was -5 at top 35 and ties). Round 2 was actually 7.8 strokes worse than round 1 on average. Oddly Zechen Dou/Xinjun Zhang were T1 after round 1 with 1 -12 and proceeded to shoot an 80 in round 2 to miss the cut, meanwhile Ryan Palmer and Jordan Spieth had the best round 2 but missed the cut as they were in dead last after round 1

Good Friday morning & YAY GOLF

They were handing out BOFR’s yesterday like they were going out of style, not today my friends. Going to be a lot of heartache and sweating today, and will come down to the last couple of groups. I am actually excited to watch this on GC play out later today.

19 entries, currently six 6/6 and six 5/6, although a few 6/6 are not cashing right now. Hoping my sleeper pick Stallings holds up today (36% owned).

Did you select teams with a high putting percentage? Those are the guys winning today.

9:20 tee off, too late for much overlay, looks anemic on DK. Played 2 entries in the $15 flop shot w a core of Smith/XMan.

Looking forward to today fellars, Good Luck, we will need it.

Should be easier for them to get the scoring right, too, since each team is playing one golfball.

All that research and my lineup with the best chance of a 6/6 is team “OO”.

Very interesting. So the cut won’t be -8 this year I assume?

I tried to think of Round 2 Showdown in a different way now that it’s alternating shots*, but it’s funny that I still ended up on the same names I liked on Monday for the most part. Hovland/KKV still seems real strong
