12% GPP will be lower tomorrow after mdf, could be very low for 4th round.

Ugh; three 4/6 and one 3/6 this week

Hoping my Day/JT LU can min cash somewhere and can hold the top ten in the league 50/50

Bright side; put $12 into the showdown and won $24 so there’s that

  • Dunzor

Wow I’m really surprised they are just doing normal 2somes off of #1 tomorrow…usually when they have this many guys make saturday with an MDF looming they either go off split tees or play 3somes. I guess they decided just starting early morning was the way to go

  • dangasin

I had some massive luck today. Bryson playing in god mode. Day holing out for eagle.

  • dangasin

If I am reading correctly, only 4 players eligible for a4u70. I wonder if that will drop to 0 by end of sunday

    You are correct

Difficult to build a winning tiger team this week.

Just got home from the course and catching up – made two birds today which was one more than Tiger 👍

Saw the highlights of Tiger’s putting – wow he missed a pile of makeable ones and it seems Rory and Phil weren’t much better.

  • hautalak

Well I was in the minority wanting a +2 cut because it did me little good. If only Kevin Tway could have got to +3 I would have been happy.

For the tourney, only players who made cut, Rory has lost 3.76 strokes on green, only JP is worse. Tiger has lost 2.61 which falls in bottom five. Both should be low owned for those that play daily golf since they are near cut line.

Also do we think the morning tee times continue to struggle tomorrow or will they play better than the mid morning/early afternoon? Am today wasn’t as bad as yesterday, .66 worse than pm were day before it was slightly over one stroke.

That is why I wanted to draft you!

Due to technical difficulties, I was only able to get the tiger team created and entered it into the non-challenge heads up as well. The non Tiger team I had concocted swapped tiger for casey and stanley/watney for glover, so Day,Casey, Hadley, Simpson, Bryson,Watney/Stanley.

I’m sleeping on the lead in the $444. Not a spot I particularly love since there only place to go is down. Idk how bad this +3 might bite me. Hideki team could get hot if he does. I’m a positive mindset kinda dude, any run good or love I get from the RG is awesome.

    The squad is
    Grillo
    Hadley
    Day
    Casey
    An
    Bryson D

    Nice – good luck

I have my own sweat – I’m sitting 8th in a Double Qualifier for 2 FGWC tickets – only 11.5 point from 1st and only 3 guys with 6/6 ahead of me.

    236.5 points
    Casey -5, Stanley -3, Hatton -2
Plus 3 guys at Even – JT, Berger and List

I feel like it has lots of upside and looks very safe from the MDF as my worst guys are 3 shots clear.

This lineup is also 118th in Dogleg and half the lineups ahead of me are 5/6 or worse plus there is a big MDF so again there is upside

In an interview, Tiger said he can’t get used to the speeds of the greens; wished they were faster. So if the greens get faster over the weekend he might have better performance?

The greens looked pretty fast to me though, so he is probably just trying to blame grass for his piss poor putts

    You didn’t want me today
2 birds, 3 bogies and 3 doubles (in a row to boot !) for a 77 that could have been 1-2 shots worse if not for a couple good saves.

When I made the 3rd double in a row, I immediately thought about the forum and how someone would be on tilt over the Double Bogey streak ! 😂😂😂

I wouldn’t consider E safe from the mdf cut tomorrow. Rory, Finau, Keegan and Hossler all put up scores of 76+ today and there is no reason why a List, Berger or JT could not do that tomorrow. Remember this is a big MDF, 17 potential cuts. A few weeks back at Houston we had a potential 20 MDF cut that took out 15 players. The cut for the tourney was -3, the first MDF players cut were -2. Granted Quail Hollow is more difficult than Houston but it’s very possible that +4 gets cut tomorrow. Good luck in your satty’s, I see you in quite a few around me.
